She’d been spending the week agonizing over the perfect gift for Ember. She wanted her friend to see that she really did love her and that she really was sorry for what she had done. It was hard to get a gift, since she knew that girly things like make-up or clothes would never be something she’d want. She had her own taste in things and she was getting a whole wardrobe now.
But she wanted to give her something that she knew she could use and remember her when she did. Calum was helpful with ideas, but she was so afraid of buying the wrong thing that she kept changing her mind, much to his amusement.
