“There’s no doubt that these two are best friends. They are both attacked in the same body part,” Valenn pointed out. “What’s with your buttocks? They are the valued prey of your enemies,” he added before chuckling.

Alec, who was sitting on the hospital bed, raised his hand and gave Valenn a middle finger. “Should I murder this kid?” he asked and looked at Jerson who seemed to be in a daze.

“Go on. You can cut his tongue before killing him if that suits your taste,” Jerson nonchalantly asserted while looking up.

Ever since Jerson woke up, he was just staring at the canopy like he was living in his delusional world. He wasn’t reacting too much as if his mental capacity had been affected by the stab. Alec grazed his hair.

There are only three of them inside the room. Alec looked at Jerson curiously. He tilted his head. Why does it feel like the old Jerson came back from the grave? “What is bothering you?” he asked.
