Generational Rage

 Violetwall Town

  C-Dome

The sun was warm but to others, it was deadly. He couldn't stop thinking if he was a vampire, not a half breed but a true vampire, he would have rescheduled his timeline. He would have called his day his night and his night would be his day, poetically barbarian but sounds like entertainment to the night creatures.

He sat on the rooftop, his body glittering to the sun's rays on him. He stared at the horizon, hearing the whispers of citizens, their laughs, smiles and even their cries but he dare no interfere. He was indeed their guardian as they believed but there was more behind his motive of been the human vigilante. They believed him to be their guardian against supernatural creatures although many believed in vampires and other creatures but few believed in their existences.

He was waiting for nightfall, been a vigilant during the day would attract the cops and other security forces. They don't really believe he's a hero and he knew he isn't, he was just a man born exclusively as he would say but been born a Dhampir makes him not different from the night creatures. He does not share their weaknesses but does inherits their unsatisfying hunger, the zeros to feed.

"You almost got me bothered Clancy, thought you've gone on a drink." A voice echoed as a head looked out of the roof, it was Lloyd climbing up the roof with the aid of a ladder. He grunted as he sat beside him at the edge of the roof "We naturally find the stars attractive, but you instead finds the sun pleasing." He scoffed breathing heavily.

"It's the only thing that reminds me that I'm nothing like them." Clancy answered without looking at him "they can't stay in the sun, that makes me effectively different from them."

Lloyd heaved "You're different from them Clancy! I brought you up when no one could, you are special and that's what makes you different." He explained warmly and Clancy looked at him.

"I'm sorry for what I said earlier, I was just trying to be sincere."

Lloyd cut in "and i am glad you did, i just wanted what's best for you." He patted him on his left shoulder "but sometimes, we just have to let go off the past to give way to a better future." He spoke.

Clancy nodded speechless, he just hummed in approval while staring downward.

"Just think about it Clancy, just think about it." He caressed him on the shoulder again now taking his leave down the ladder.

Clancy watched as he left and back at the sun, Lloyd has no idea what resides within him. He has been burning with rage since the beginning of his lifespan, his hatred for the vampires is so huge he hasn't felt or seen any emotions that could weight him off course. He was just waiting for the right time to come and then, his thirst for vengeance will be over.

 Twilight Fall Town

  Town Motel

Loud sirens filled the air in conjunction with chattering of both men and women, teenagers were taken pictures while adults were dumbstrucked by the scenario before them. The minor town has already been surrounded by the authorities related to want happened last night in the motel, no one could describe what exactly happened but numerous same events has happened consecutively that got the town sheriff amazed and disturbed.

Restraint yellow ropes were tied around the building to avoid citizens from entering the crime scene. Cops dressed in black and white outfits stood in the midst of the scene patrolling with shotguns and rifles in their hands while more cops dressed in overall black outfits walked out of the motel chattering.

 ZOOM!

A red highlander zoomed in and halted rapidly before the scene, the chattering cops were attracted by the car and they walked towards it. Form the car he emerged. He was more like a remarkably built man, too muscular to be the sheriff. He was Scott Evans, a very bald man with narrow eyes and pointy nose, he also had a canine tattoo on his left shoulder that peeked through his white short sleeve t-shirt, he wore a brown trouser and white trainers. He was more like the Dwayne Johnson of the town.

"Speak to me mate!" He ordered, his voice bossy and cold, almost dead emotionally.

They were both his companions in his sheriff town, always keeping an eye out and Rapidfire has been not a major problem but one of their greatest problems. He at first never wanted to intrude in the deals Rapidfire is into because the vigilante was helping them in killing what he hates the most, vampires. But the sudden outburst that happened last night causing chaos in the middle of his town put peoples lives in danger, civilians could get attacked my the creatures or worst.

"What did you find?" He asked again and this time, the duo cleared their throats.

The first man was muscular but slender, he had a goatee beard and grey short hair. He was known as Dylan Dutch but many refer to him as D "Decayed bodies!" He answered.

"Burnt into ashes!" The second added. He wasn't too slender nor muscular but averagely built with a large scar on his left cheek, named Matthew without a surname because many believed he grew up as an orphan.

Scott frowned his face, probably confused "Burnt? By what exactly?" He asked to be precise.

"Burnt without a trace of their presence left behind." Matthew emphasized thoughtfully and Scott heaved in pressure. Truthfully, It has been long since they've dealt with unnatural forces in his town, he has forgotten they still exists.

"And you're sure it wasn't humans that were burnt alive." Scott asked again thoroughly.

"Without the building completely burnt down, it would take approximately months for a human to decompose but with what we just saw back in there, those aren't humans."  D added, speaking with disbelieve in his voice "and besides, we found this." He opened his right palm revealing in his palm a handkerchief which had a bullet in it.

Scott squatted his eyes taking a savage look at the bullet "silver bullet? Who the hell uses silver bullets as ammunition?" He couldn't help but ask shouting.

"The same person that murdered those vampires." Matthew suggested. They've been in a terrible war against the bloodsucking creatures of the night for decades for a reason known only to themselves.

"Bloodbath!" Scott sighed with his eyes searching "I thought we had them chased away from our territory, how are they back?" Scott asked himself.

"Perhaps they just did, you know we were the cause of the segregation made by the Councils of the hidden world. We've to try to amend this ourselves without the intervension of the Councils." Matthew idealized and Scott hummed thoughtfully.

"Assemble the pack, but first, we need to find this vigilante before he does anything crazy again. He needs to know we are on his side against this mothersucking creatures." Scott mandated and with slight nods, they walked off. He reached into his trouser's pocket and brought out a cigarette, he stuck it in between his lip and held out a lighter he has been holding in his hand for hours. In no time, he was covered in clouds of smoke as the wind blew some dispersed in the air.

"Who are you Rapidfire?" He exhaled as he finalized under his breath.

 Violetwall Town

  C-Dome

He sat on his bed, head plopped and his eyes closed but his senses were active. His perception acted like that of a radar sense, feeling and perceiving everything at a medium scale. His senses were so akin he could feel the marching of ants on the walls like they were walking over him, could smell so succinctly he could perceive emotions and with his eyes closed, he could picture images in his mind like he was staring at them. What an impressive arsenal.

He felt as the sun went down in the horizon, giving room to darkness to dominate once again. Beside his bed were his black guns, black OTS-02 Kiparises to be precise. He was already dressed in his long sleeve black leather jacket that stopped at his ankles, black turned in shirt underneath, black trouser, his utility belt strapped around his waist, black leather boots and lying before him on the bed was his black eyeglasses. He opened his eyes and took the glasses, he rose on his feet, took the guns and examined them before hiding it behind in his belt. He walked towards the window taking his last yoga breath and with a soft jump, he landed on the street floor with a crouch.

No one saw him, he was normally behind his house. The darkness subjugated everything but he could see clearly as if it was daylight, he could see his surrounding as it was pictured in his mind, almost like a negative effect of a camera. With a simple heave, he pressured his feet onto the ground and with a single bounce, he was air borne. Totally concealed in the dark.
