Franklin's POV

There was a quick and fast replay of how it happened in my head. Jon was in the crowd. He was among the people that came to end my life.

“Because I ordered it!” It rang in my head several times, and now, Jon was standing in front of the army with that smirk still on his face.

“So, this was approved by you?” I asked, and he scoffed.

“I planned it, stupid.” He growled.

“Shouldn't you of all people know that it is impossible to kill someone like me without my approval?!”

“At least I'll try today, and if I don't get you, I'll regroup and come harder.” He said confidently.

“Why are you even doing this? I'm not even trying to hurt you.” I scoffed, hoping he'd change his mind, but it seemed made up already.

“You are a threat to me, now more than ever.” Jon said. “And for the sake of the world, and the evolution I'm trying to build, you must be out of it.”

“Well, good luck with it.” I scoffed. “And also good luck with the world if you succeed in killing me.”

“Oh trust me,

Franklin's POV I paced round the room, unsure about why I was pacing. I had finished reading the books, but they only spoke about the brutality of the Demon King and not what his intentions were. Apparently, he could shake the world and change the Earth in a day, but that was still nothing that made any sense to me. There were nine more days until the full moon, and I still had no idea about what to expect. I hadn't slept in the same room with Jessica since I got back. I was always heating up, and thankfully, I didn't have to have sex with her. The thought of her being sad from me rejecting her would just break me. “Food is ready!” She announced from the kitchen. We took turns cooking. I was at the table eating when Paenyrah walked in. It was already evening, and I was surprised that she had come. Since the day she delivered the books, she hadn't shown up. “And to what do we owe this special visit?” Jessica asked, also surprised as I was “Why do you guys sound like I aband

Scarlett's POV “No, you won't.” I responded, looking down at him kissing my feet like his life depends on it. “Rise up.” He kissed my legs, and then stood up, staring at me with drowsy eyes. “Can you just let me put the tip?” He begged, and then I held his mouth and pulled him close. “Just countdown till four days.” I whispered, and he nodded gently. “We will be married then, and I'll decide if you're worthy.”I hoped that'd work, but I intensely doubt it. He'd rather rape me than wait one more second. I slowly picked one of his hands while maintaining eye contact with him. I placed his thumb in my mouth, making sure we were still looking at each other. I acted like I was choking on it. I could see his bulge stretching out more. I removed his hand from mine, and he sucked the same thumb. “Leave me now.” I said. “I want to rest.” “I will.” He responded like he had been hypnotized. He left the room and I ran to the bathroom, vomiting the content of my stomach. I brushed my mouth

Scarlett's POV After spending so much time in the library trying to figure out what the North wanted with Franklin, I still didn't succeed. I read quite a number of books since I had so much free time, but none could exactly pinpoint what was needed. I only ran around in circles. I was back in my room, and this time, Timber North wasn't lurking somewhere inside. It was now four days to the stupid marriage with Timber North. I picked up my phone, with intentions to reach out to Paenyrah because of Franklin. I was considering texting over calling. I eventually put a call through to her. She didn't pick up for a while, and I was beginning to give up. She eventually picked just when I was about to end the call. “What a surprise!” Paenyrah’s voice conveyed her surprise. “Hi Paenyrah.” I muttered. “Hi, what is it that you want this time?” She asked.“Franklin. Is he fine and alive?” I asked.“Why are you bothered about that? Last I checked, you didn't want anything to do with him. Yo

Thane's POV I felt an immediate gravitational pull towards Scarlett. My heart skipped a beat when I randomly caught her scent. Her red hair was an exceptionally beautiful choice of colour that made me overly interested in being close to her. I had already changed directions to move close to her when Timber North called me. He was laughing and I could hear his footsteps.I looked at him for about two seconds, and returned the fake smile, only to see that Scarlett had also left. “I hope the journey wasn't so stressful?” Prince Timber asked as we shook hands. We firstly went to see the King, who seemed to be in the best state to plot and scheme. “You are not the Prince of the South.” He chuckled. “Your eyes have more blue in them than the sky.”I chuckled, since that was the last thing that'd get to me at this stage. “I have just been crowned. My coronation was a few days ago.” I said. “I'd suggest that you do not question the decision of my King right in front of his Prince.” Timb

Franklin's POV “So, what do you want to do now?” Jessica asked, resting her head on my legs. I had just finished reading the book about vampires and demons. There was nothing that could lead me to the actual answer I needed. It was a very interesting read, so I wasn't so bothered.“What do you suggest?” I asked, shrugging. “Let's sleep, I'm tired.” Jesisca muttered. “You'll be the big spoon.” I couldn't let her sleep on the couch because I wanted it to still have the faint scent of Scarlett it had. So we went to one of the rooms, and I made sure she slept off. My body was heating up and the bed was burning up already. I left her side to avoid hurting her. I went downstairs, and I turned on the news. There was nothing important going on.I picked up my sword, and I went outside, in hopes of learning to control my powers and know every single one of them I had. “What powers would a Demon King want in a person?” I asked myself, unsheathing Legion. I wanted to fight someone so badly,

  • Clawstone Academy: The Alpha or The Beast   Chapter 137.

Scarlett's POV I was in the library, searching for books that'd probably help with the problem I had developed. To know what the North might be getting out of it, I might have to know why Franklin must have taken the hands of the dark world. I took two books after hours of searching. The library doesn't seem to hold what I want. I sighed, walking back to the Palace. I couldn't use the Internet as I wished in the North. The censored use could alarm anyone if I tried figuring out what was happening. I got back to my room , shaking my head tiredly. I locked the door behind me. I stayed there for a few seconds, about to run to the bed and sleep. “Where were you?” Timber’s voice rang through the room and I shook. I instantly turned to look at him. He had a smirk on his face like he was enjoying the unhinged thing he was doing. “The library.” I responded, pushing the books I had borrowed to the side so he wouldn't see them. I then walked into the light, where he could see me very well
