The church was quiet except for the soft strains of a piano playing in the background. Sunlight filtered through the tall windows, casting pale patterns on the stone floor. Guests sat in neat rows, murmuring in hushed tones before falling silent as the ceremony began.

The groom, Christian Edgar Smith stood at the altar, dressed in an immaculate dark suit, his hands clasped in front of him, his expression a mixture of satisfaction and dominance.

Levy Hart made his entrance with Trudy in his arm, her face completely covered by the veil. They walked down the aisle as the audience watched and took videos.

“Now, remember,” Levy whispered to Trudy, his voice a threatening growl, “Don't try anything stupid. Just say I DO and the wedding will be over just before you know it. Got it?”

Trudy gave no response as though she didn't just heard him speak.
