Chapter 135: The Consequence of Greed

Simon kept blaming himself for his daughter’s suffering in Marriage.

Sophia was all fine with Shawn when he destroyed the genuine love they shared with his greed.

Life indeed was a mystery that even the aged could not understand just by human knowledge and be free from making mistakes.

The fact Shawn is now rich made Simon’s heart wept and sore. If he had known, he wouldn't have interrupted Shawn and Sophia’s relationship with his selfishness. By now, he would have been sure that his daughter would be in safe hands with Shawn.

That morning, Joana kept calling Sophia but her phone was out of reach. She called Matthew too but he refused to take her calls.

Matthew indeed was a cow. Joana thought. He has blatantly refused to take anyone’s call or even return the calls.

“ Uncle Simon, don't worry, I am going to Matthew’s house right away to see Sophia. I don't know why her phone has been out of reach for some days now” said Joana, after trying to reach Sophia.
