Unspoken passion

Celia woke up the next morning with an aching brain. As she woke up, her hands wandered for water but something passed by her right hand, she sat up and saw Elliot’s body half lying on her bed.

Celia: Elliot? Elliot?

She brushed her warm fingers through his hair and stroked his cheeks to wake him up.

Elliot: You… Come here.

He caught her hand and pulled her close.

Elliot: How about a morning kiss?

He lifted her chin gently, looked into her eyes and leaned in to kiss.

Celia: Stop.

Celia turned her head in disgrace.

Elliot: What’s wrong?

Celia: Move aside, I need to freshen up.

She shut his want and climbed out of the bed, heading to the washroom.

He watched at her with surprise, unwilling to leave her alone and the urge to clear the anxiety and insecurity about her; he stood by the door waiting for Celia to come out.
