Mum's wailing is on another level. She's mourning George for the second time in less than two years. Funny huh?!
We're led outside after organising an ambulance to ferry them to a morgue, with mum still wailing and dad constantly cursing.
Outside, Darlene and the rest are waiting and I'm quick to find solace in Darlene's wide open arms. And the first sob escapes my manly lips. However much I try to stop the sobs and tears, they come out forcefully.
“She's the one?”
Dad asks pointing at Darlene who's busy soothing me.
I turn to look at dad and he's shooting daggers at my wife.
“What has she done?”
I ask as I wipe my tears with the back of my palm. I'm too hurt to care.
“She was in prison. When did she come out?”
