“Guess what dear?”
Sandra asks as we prepare dinner.
Jeff and I have just arrived and after taking a shower, he has gone straight to the bedroom to take a nap.
“Yes Sandra...fill me in.”
I say as I get fetch for something in the fridge.
“I met Matthew earlier today.”
“What?” I gasp. “How did you do that? I mean did he recognise you?”
“Easy my dear... Calm down. Matthew is an understanding young man and he was so happy to see me. Apparently, he didn't know the prison I was in because his uncle couldn't tell him anything.”
She explains.
“But Jeff warned you against visiting them until you're sure their minds haven't been poisoned?”
I ask.
“Yes he did but I couldn't avoid bumping into him in the college administration
