I couldn't tell how I got there but I found myself back in the house I grew up in.

I looked around in confusion, my heart beating faster when I heard footsteps coming down the stairs.

My breath hitched as my father appeared at the foot of the staircase, his favorite belt in his hand. As he approached me with a mission in mind, I knew I was fucked.

I couldn't recall what I had done but he looked very furious and I knew nothing was going to save me from his wrath today.

Instinctively, I started walking backward when he walked toward me. "Where the fuck do you think you're going?" His loud voice boomed around the living room harshly, making me flinch.
