Leaving Austin tonight was the hardest thing I have had to do. As I sit on the plane, I can't help but think of the love that I left behind. When she fell asleep in her seat, I immediately got up and reached to pick her up. But her friend stopped me and read me the riot act. I had to promise to ensure she and the baby were comfortable.

As I lay next to her, with my hand on her lower abdomen, I was fascinated to know my child was growing in there. But the reality was that I had left her alone, pregnant, and feeling abandoned.
