DELILAH

The town we live in is on the small side, so once again we find ourselves at Lulu's Diner. I'm not complaining though, the retro vibe and 90's music is just what I need after a long day in the sun. R.E.M. is playing in the background as we walk in and just as we're sitting into the shiny red booths, our phones all start dinging simultaneously. If I've learned anything in the last few days, it is that rapidly dinging phones are not a good sign. Ever. I wonder what it is this time.

"So, how bad is it?" I ask, refusing to look at my phone at all. I order cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes for all of us while everyone else quickly scans through their notifications.

"Depends on what you consider bad." Tessa chirps and smiles at me questioningly. "The good news is that you look gorgeous as always. I don't know why you stopped modeling. I mean, I know why, but cameras just love you."  I nod thoughtfully. She's not lying. I'm very photogenic, but I haven't modeled since mom died. It was something we shared together and I'm not sure I'm ready to do it without her.

A young blonde waitress brings out our food and lingers around the table flipping her hair and rapidly batting her lashes. She's probably hoping to catch one of the boy's attention.  "And the bad news?" I ask while dipping a fry in my chocolate shake.

"This one makes the hallway pic at the party seem tame." Tess explains quietly.

"Let me see." I say as I grab the phone from Tess and look at the screen. The headline reads, "Liam Anderson Scores with Football Princess at Beach".  I sigh, taking a sip of my shake.  At least the headline is cheeky. "Liam, my dad is going to kill us. He told you to keep it PG if we aren't behind closed doors. Do you think this is PG?" I hold the phone where he can see it and point to his hands grabbing my butt, again. Only this time I'm in a teeny yellow bikini and we're both dripping wet.

Liam's eyes go wide and a pink blush forms on his cheeks. He stares at the photo and for some reason, I think he may be replaying the scene in his mind. "Worth it." He says before biting his burger and Tyler chuckles.

He shrugs. "I mean he did catch me in your room this morning and he was cool about it. He knows people wear bikinis at the beach and you're just so irresistible. I'm sure he'll understand that I was physically unable to keep my hands off you. Your dad loves me." He shoots me a smoldering smile and I'm surprised I haven't melted into a puddle.  This boy is trouble. What have I gotten myself into?

"Can you send me that though? I definitely need a copy. For later." The boys high five him as I stare at him in disbelief.

"Oh my God, Liam. Seriously?" I can feel all my blood rushing to my cheeks and I hide my face in my hands so they don't see.

He casually moves his hand further up my thigh and begins tracing shapes onto it. Tingles erupt across my skin wherever his magic fingers touch. I shiver as he leans in to whisper in my ear, "Do you think your dad will mind if I sneak in again tonight?" He nuzzles his nose into my hair, twirling a piece around his finger. I temporarily forget how to speak. "I. Um. I. I'm not sure."  I manage to say.

"Only one way to find out, right?" He whispers trailing his finger down my arm. He looks so smug right now. It's clear that he knows exactly what he's doing to me. "You want me to stay over right?"

"I don't know," I whisper as I run my hand down his chest. "You've been a pretty naughty boy today. Do you deserve to stay over tonight?" He leans closer and is about to respond when a loud cough sounds from across the table. We both turn to see everyone looking around awkwardly. Somehow I'd forgotten they were all here with us. Again.

Ty breaks the silence first, "Maybe you guys should head home. There are children present and you could cut the sexual tension between you two with a knife."

LIAM

"Dude. This definitely wasn't a thing before we left." Tyler doesn't take his eyes off of the view in front of him as he blindly swats at my arm to get my attention. I don't blame him I can't look away either.

I gulp, eyes wide and lick my bottom lip. "For some reason I feel like we should look away." I don't though. I'm not sure it's physically possible for me to do so.

"Naahhh. If they didn't want to be seen they wouldn't be out here on the beach right?" Ty responds confidently.

We just finished up our morning run down the beach, only to be stopped dead in our tracks by Dels and Tess doing sun salutations by the surf. I've never seen anything so beautiful in all my life.  "We've been missing out." I nod in agreement, blindly squirting water in my mouth, and trying to catch my breath.

Delilah is wearing some kind of pants that look like they were painted on to her body.  I want to personally thank their creator. They deserve a medal. She slowly bends over keeping her legs straight and pushing her butt up in the air while holding herself up with her arms. My jaw drops.

Those pants should be illegal.  "You seeing this?" Ty asks in disbelief.  I feel Tyler punch my arm and I realize he's watching this too. Shit. He's still here?

I quickly clear my throat. "You better not be checking out my girls ass right now." He doesn't respond, so I punch him in the arm to break him out of his trance.

"Sorry man." He finally replies, rubbing the spot where my punch landed. "We should go talk to them."

"Yeah." We nod at each other in encouragement, keeping our eyes on the girls, but neither of us move from our spots.

"Five more minutes."

"Are you creeps going to say hi or are you planning to gawk at us all day?" Tess asks turning in our direction while Delilah chuckles. They stand up facing us and Dels dusts the sand off her sexy bottoms. We quickly walk in their direction.

"Like what you see?" Dels asks as I lean in to greet her properly with a kiss. I nod, shamelessly checking her out.

"Your pants should come with a warning label."

They both giggle and I don't miss the blush blooming on Dels cheeks.

"So do you ladies do this every morning? I'm going to set an alarm on my phone if you do, so I don't miss out." Tyler teases and Tess swats at his arm. Well, at least I think he's teasing.

"You can come, but only if you participate. There are some fun couples poses we can teach you." Tess offers hopefully.

Tyler raises an eyebrow intrigued, "You have my undivided attention."

Tessa quickly wraps her arm around his leading him towards her mat.  "Here let me show you."

DELILAH I’m not sure of the exact moment that I realized I wanted Liam Anderson to be mine forever. It could have been on the beach when we would collect shells and build castles when I was 6. I remember thinking that his smile reminded me of sunshine and I couldn’t control the butterflies when he would unleash it on me.Or it could’ve been the times we snuck out in fifth grade to catch lightning bugs in jars or when we’d sneak some of moms freshly baked cookies before dinner. It could’ve been any of the numerous times he had my back if the other kids at school teased me. It could’ve been the time in middle school when we held hands or when he saved me from having to do 7 minutes in heaven with Gavin in 7th grade. Liam has always been such a large part of my life. Staring at him up on stage now, I try to think of what my life would be like in ten years if Liam wasn’t in it. A tear slips down my cheek as I realize that’s not the life that I want. The guys have just finished playing th

LIAM "Are you two officially back together?" A reporter chirps shoving her recorder in our faces after we just finished filming a segment for the live show. I look at Delilah, wondering what she's thinking as I reply, "We're still working things out." Dels frowns at my response as the reporter steps in closer. "That's too bad. So who will you be kissing at midnight then?" She asks winking at me and stepping in closer. "I'm free." She mentions, raising a brow at Dels. I'm not sure if that comment was meant for me or Delilah at this point, but I'm not taking any chances. I take Delilah's hand and thread my fingers with hers before quickly responding. "I can say with certainty that if I'm not kissing this amazing girl at midnight, I most definitely will not be kissing anyone else." I look hopefully into those honey brown eyes that I love so much to see if she feels the same way. "I don't know," she teases coyly, but her eyes are telling me that she agrees with me completely. DELILAH I haven't heard from Liam at all today, which is strange considering he was all over me last night. I've been replaying last nights events in my mind and I don't remember anything happening that would have made him upset with me. It's New Years Eve and we are supposed to be hosting a party together in a few hours. I'm hoping it won't be awkward but at this point I'm pretty annoyed that he hasn't even attempted to talk to me or even sent me a text after sneaking out of my room early this morning. He must have changed his mind. After spending an hour with hair and makeup Tessa and I are all dolled up and ready for tonight's shenanigans. The event is being held on top of a fancy hotel in Time's Square. The place is decked out in gold trimmed everything, looking extremely extravagant and festive. When we arrive the guys are already testing out their microphones and chatting with the camera crew. Liam notices me first nodding in my direction, but makes no attempt to talk to me. T

DELILAH A knock on the door wakes me from my drunken slumber. I roll over and notice that Liam's not in the bed anymore and all of his belongings are gone. Strange. I could have swore he stayed the night. Why would he sneak out in the middle of the night without saying bye? Did I do something to upset him? I climb out of bed and make my way to the door cracking it open to see who is knocking."Hey Tessa. Why are you waking me up so early?" I grumble. "It's not early Lilah. It's almost noon. You need to shower and get ready to host the New Years Eve party." She smiles at me, before glancing around the room in confusion. "Is Liam not here? I thought you two made up last night." "I guess he didn't come back with me last night. I'm not sure, things are a bit hazy." "Huh, well anyway you need to get showered and then we can grab some brunch before we head over to the party." I nod and head to the bathroom to get ready. Maybe a hot shower will help me remember last nights events a bit b

DELILAHWe sat at the bar for hours tossing back shots and drinking together before I finally got the nerve to ask him on our way to my room. "Was that little stunt you pulled tonight completely necessary?" I cock my eyebrow and pucker my lips as I wait to hear him explain his actions earlier. "I wasn't running off.""I'm sorry babe. You weren't where you said you'd be and I saw you by the exit and I don't know. I just panicked." His words slurring a bit as he runs his hand through his hair and then takes my hand in his and squeezes. "I thought you were taking off and I reacted before thinking. I'm sorry."I shake my head at him playfully. "You owe me big time, calling me out in front of all those fans and celebrities." I continue walking down the lit corridor until we arrive at my room. I turn toward him to see him awkwardly standing with his hands in his pockets, unsure of his next move. Smiling I reach for my room key in my bag and take it out to tap it against the lock. "Well, thi

LIAM The huge rush that I get when I walk out onto the stage for a show never gets old. My adrenaline is pumping when I look out into the crowd and it's only heightened when I feel her brown eyes on me from the side of the stage. I turn my head raking my eyes over her one last time before I have to divert my attention to the crowd of people screaming our names in front of me. I'll have her screaming my name later. Damn, she looks so good tonight, I could eat her. There is actually nothing that I'd rather do at the moment. I feel myself getting more excited than I need to be in front of all these people and give her a wink before forcing myself to pull my eyes off her. "Hey New York! Are you ready to party? How about we play you some tunes?" My questions are immediately answered with cheers, whistling, and camera flashes as I put the microphone back into the stand and swing my guitar around to begin playing. "Alright then. My boys are a bit hungover from last night, so let's show the
