Getting into the SUV without Lilah was easily one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life. I had promised her dad that I'd always protect her, and her being kidnapped while I'm only 15 feet away, makes me feel like I failed them both. Thank God they were able to save themselves. Tess let it slip to Ty that she and Dels had been taking boxing and self defense lessons since Delilah's mom passed away. Apparently, my tiny wife knows how to defend herself.

Our opening performance at the game went on without a hitch. Delilah was waiting for me in the dressing room when the show was over just as she promised she would be. We barely wait for the game to end before heading straight to the airport. We had originally planned on staying another night in Vegas, but after everything that's happened we are both ready to get home.
