14. NEW QUEEN

The chirping of birds was always like an alarm for me to get early in the morning but unlike other mornings I wasn't feeling fresh. My brain was throbbing in pain as if someone was hammering on it.

Groaning I straightened up as I glanced at my surrounding to make the events of last night run in flashback in front of my eyes.

I glanced down at me as a loud gasp left my mouth after finding myself still in my inner wears. The duvet was on me but the thought of me sleeping the whole night like this made me bit my lower lip.

Did he sleep here last night too?

The bed sheets beside me weren’t crumbled so I came to conclusion that he didn't.

The moment I sighed in contentment the door of my room burst opened taking me off guard as I swiftly covered myself with duvet.

Those were my maids as they should have knocked. Shouldn't they?
