Chapter 023: The rest of the day and the shocking next day
I think I felt my body go numb for a moment along with my mind.
I know I shouldn't feel like this. I know that I didn't feel any sort of attraction towards him but I really couldn't help it. My conscience knows how hard I've been trying to stay away from him. But still, he kept barging into my life again and again. And now I've been dragged into feeling something I didn't want to.
I quickly repelled myself from him, but he was still holding me firmly.
"Let go."
He didn't.
I tried harder again and he loosened his grip on my shoulder. I struggled free from him and stepped away from the umbrella, but he stepped closer.
"It is raining."
"I know."
"Can't you see that I'm trying to keep you away from the rain? Even now I pulled you closer so that you can stay within the umbrella and prevent from getting yourself wet. Why are you getting angry over such a simple thing?"
