Chapter 022: Realizing something that I didn't want to
Today was the day..... The day I'll be finalizing the internship offer.
Unlike every other day, I managed to get ready ahead of time today and was already off to the University. I thought the loose-fitting dark green shirt tucked in black high waisted denim jeans which I was wearing would look great for today. I grabbed a double-espresso-macchiato in a coffee bar on my way to the bus stop. The bus stop wasn't crowded as I expected. While I sat there waiting for the bus, I finished up the day's caffeine shot and texted my besties in our chat group. There was no reply. Maybe they haven't woken up yet, but it was already 8.30 am.
The bus arrived, and fortunately, I found a seat. In 15 minutes, I got down at my university. It was very calm and tranquil compared to how it looked during each semester. I swiftly walked to my professor's office and found my way in. I had to wait for a while since my professor was attending a phone call.
