Chapter 52. First Stage (Part 2)
Emma knew he was suffering right now, but she didn't care and was obviously entertained by his trick going back at him, even if she was red to the ears too. She was being watched by him in a place other than their house, she knew that no one dared to open the door abruptly but that was what scared her more. He would take advantage of that to play her if she let him of course.
She could feel his eyes inspecting every single part of her body. The desire was written all over them and it was noticeable that he was at his last wits. The number of gulps and the tightening of his fist were the evidence. It would be a lie to say that she wasn't delighted to see his insatiable desire for her.
"Emma," she turned away ignoring his words, and started dressing into her fighting clothes. They were specially done for her, with the symbol of a little golden dragon in the collar of the upper shirt, it was a mark of the Duke of Kobach, like the knights under his charge.
