Leah

I didn't dare move.

I kept my eyes shut tight. I knew he was awake. I could feel him watching me.

The warmth from his body pressed against my side, my cheek resting on his chest. My hand lying across his stomach.

When did I move that close?

I felt his fingers brush my hair from my face. The tips of his fingers making goosebumps spread along my arms.

My heart was pounding so loud I bet he could hear it.

He tilted my face up. I had no choice but to open my eyes. And there they were, those black hungry eyes.

"Good morning," he said, voice a deep lazy rumble.

My heart skipped.

I shifted, trying to roll away, needing space to think cause it was impossible with how close we were. But he gripped my waist, pulling me closer to him.

"Where do you think you're going, doll? After clinging to me all night?" He murmured, against my ear, the tip of his nose brushing the side of my neck.

I shivered.

"I wasn't —" I started, but he cut me off with a sudden bite to my cheek, then a playful nip

LeahIt sank into his eyes. He screamed, staggering back, hand clutching his ruined eye as blood ran down his cheek. "You fucking bitch!"I didn't waste time and started running for the door, but my escape lasted barely two sceonds before he caught me by the hair."Where the fuck do you think you are going to?" He snarled, yanking me back so hard my scalp hurt. He slammed my head against the wall, and I whimpered from the pain. His ruined eye was bloodied, and he had already pulled the pregnancy stick put.He pressed the gun to my forehead. "If you weren't needed alive, I would paint the floor with your brains."My chest heaved, fear enveloping me. Where the fuck is Aiden when you need him? I caught Amanda behind him, sneaking into the room with a knife in her hand."You're making a big mistake," I said, trying to distract him, my breath shaky. "Aiden won't let you get away with touching me.""Shut the fuck up, hoe," he growled, and slapped me.I bit down on my lip as I blinked bac

LeahI grabbed my usual shampoo and shoved it at Aiden. He put it into the basket he was carrying, then reached for another one. "Let's get extras," he said."Why? I only have a month to spend with you." I said.He froze for a moment, then dropped two more bottles into the basket anyway. "Seven weeks and a day," he said. "That's what I saw in the calendar under your pillow."I shrugged. "It's a month to me."We moved on, but my eyes kept drifting to the corner shelf where the pregnancy tests were tucked between vitamins and sanitary pads. I swallowed. How do I get one without him noticing?"Do you want anything else?" "No."After Aiden paid and we had walked five steps away from the store, I stopped."I need your wallet," I blurted with an outstretched hand."Why?""There's something I didn't get."His brow arched. "It's personal." I said and added quickly, "You don't have to follow me."He studied me, still suspicious. He sighed, dug into his coat, and pressed the wallet into m

Leah He leaned against the balcony rail, a cigratte glowing between his fingers, smoke curling into the night. His eyes never left me. A moment ago, I had shoved him off me, and without a word, he had slipped out of bed, lit up a cigarette, and stepped outside. Storm had appeared briefly, placing a bottle of whiskey on the small table before vanishing again. I should've been grateful for the silence, but all it did was replay his words in my head. He didn't come to apologise. All he did was make excuses, refusing to name what he did. Every word circled back to him, his guilt, his pain, his sleepless night. It was always about how broken he was, never about what he broke in me. Not once did he ask how I felt. He just wanted relief, not forgiveness. And when I didn't give him what he wanted, he threatened me. My fists tightened around the sheets. He said he couldn't take it when I looked at him like he was a monster. But what else did he expect, acting like one? The door slid open,

LeahWe ended up using his card to order take outs for lunch and also dinner. I made sure I ordered food for every person in the estate except, of course, the owner of the card. I mean, he can cook for himself, no?I reached for the knob, but before my hand touched it, the door swung open. Aiden stood there, his tall frame blocking the entrance.I tried to slip past him through the narrow gap, but he shifted, blocking me completely. "Are you done running?" I asked, trying to sound annoyed, but my voice cracking betrayed me."I wasn't running." His voice was low. "I was trying not to make things worse."I laughed bitterly. "Too bad that's what you are good at." "Leah," He called my name softly, his fingers brushed down my arm, closing over my hand. I jerked away. The sound of my name on his lips made my skin crawl. "Don't," I snapped, meeting his eyes.He looked pitiful. The circles under his eyes were darker than the last time he avoided me, his hair a mess falling across his fore

LeahI shoved the bathroom door shut and locked it with trembling fingers. My palm pressed flat against the door, my chest heaving as tears stung my eyes. I could feel it inside me, traces of his cum dripping down my thighs. My stomach twisted, my body shaking all over again. I tore off his shirt and scrubbed between my legs, but no matter how hard I wiped the dampness clung. I told him not to cum inside me. But he never listens. Aiden never listens, only letting me win at times thinking I was in control just so he can laugh when he rips them away.Fool.To think I was beginning to hate myself more than him.I turned on the shower and stepped under the scalding spray, letting the water sear my skin until it turned red. But it didn't wash him out.I pressed both hands to my face, my shoulders trembling. How could he do this to me?There were many lines I knew he would cross but not this. His knock rattled the door, followed by his voice, calling me and asking me to open the door. I

AidenI didn't see her move. The crack of her palm against my cheek was sharp and sudden, echoing in my ear. Then came the second and the third. Three slaps in quick succession, that caught me completely off guard.I caught her wrist before the fourth, my other hand already curling into a fist.I turned to her, ready to bark something, but no words came out when I saw her face. Her green eyes were staring at me with that look that screamed she regretted every moment she spent breathing the same air as me.She tore her wrist from my grip, trembling. Her bruised lips parted, a scream trapped somewhere in her throat she couldn't let out.And for the first time, I didn't feel that twisted satisfaction I used to when she fought back. All I felt was emptiness. Something in me had cracked open.Still, I reached for her anyway. Because I'm that shameless."Leah, I..."She flinched, taking a step back like I was filth. My heart dropped."You disgust me," she said, her voice low, but it tor
