"How did you know he cheated on you? I hope you're not here crying just based on woman’s intuition?" Emily asked me with a mocking smile.

It was as if, after she found out about the possibility of her son getting someone pregnant, all the love she had for me evaporated into thin air.

I explained the moment I caught Nathaniel and Cassia.

"Who's Cassia? Is she just a random girl, or do you know her?" she asked. I didn’t understand the reason for that question—what did it have to do with her son cheating on me?
