Philip had been trying to reach out to Celine since the last time he conversed with her, but to no avail. He was even daring enough to forget how unwanted his presence was at the company by Christopher; he went there to look for her at her office, but according to the people there, she had been absent for some days. Funny how he heard some passing rumors that she was moping in her house because her ex-husband married her ex-best friend, but Philip did not believe that, as the last time he saw Celine, she did not even once mention or talk about her ex. You’d think she was never married, or even question if she had ever loved the guy. He was calling her again on her phone, praying she would pick up his call this time.
