Princess Sabrina studied his expression carefully. She found herself entranced, and was impressed by the way he was able to live up to so many years without blood.

The two of them had been silent for much too long, and Dillion suddenly broke the spell by saying, "Your highness, it's raining outside; you might become sick if you stay awake this late."

The way she gazed at him, "Dillion, I really want to sleep, but the fact that I actually encountered a real vampire isn't making me feel any better," her eyes narrowed yet again, she said, "but I want to stay awake with you, who knows you might bite me while I am asleep."

He made a chuckling sound. "Although I am a vampire, Your Highness, I will not bite you at random."

"You are playing a joke on me, aren't you?" she said, her cheeks flushed with blush.

"No, Your Highness," he said, shaking his head. "I never play a joke on anyone."
