Laura's pov

Pain, which felt like a knife, split through my skull as it dragged out of the darkness, which I couldn't tell how long I had been asleep, but forced my eyes open. But as I stared at the ceiling, I realized that this was a strange environment, somewhere that I had never been before.

It was painted white and that wasn't Dante's color. My head swirled to the other side, trying to adjust my body, but I was feeling sore and could tell that I had been lying there for a long while now.

“Good morning,” while I was still trying to adjust to my body and the new environment, I heard a voice speak, and I finally looked up and realized that a girl had been standing there all this time.

“Are you feeling any better?” A warm smile on her face as she exposed those sets of white teeth, there were a few freckles on her face but that seemed to have enhanced her beauty even more.
