CHAPTER THREE

“Good morning mum Amelia says as she rushes out of the house. She was running late for work.

“At least grab a bite Amy” her mum yelled, holding her breakfast but Amelia didn't wait.

“She skips breakfast because she wakes up late”

Anna said to herself while preparing for work too.

“Good morning kids, “ she said as she entered the classroom and sat down.

“Morning miss Amy”

“Let me see your homework,” she said to them.

Immediately she noticed a pupil in her class.

Olivia has been moody and withdrawn from the other pupils. She needs to talk to the young girl, she looks so sad too.

“Hey Olivia, I’d love to see you after class today”

“Okay miss Amy “ Olivia replied.

While the kids were having their lunch, some group of men entered the classroom and asked for Olivia before she could speak, the first man carried her.

Amelia was shocked and immediately she ran to the man carrying Olivia.

“Hello????

It is rude to enter my classroom without permission and on top of that you pick up a child that is not yours? You must be delusional “

She said running after the man and calling security.

They got to the car park and she sees the school principal.

“ You didn't educate your teacher about me,” the man said to the principal

“ We are sorry Mr Madison, she's new here and doesn't know a few things “ the principal apologized

“ Next time you try to stop me from taking my child, I'll break you, “ He said to Amelia. this time he turned his back, facing her.

She realized how good-looking this man is, he looked like a demigod and she couldn't stop looking at him.

“Are you deaf? Or you choose not to reply” he said again.

“I'm sorry sir, but if you had picked her up as normal parents do, I don't think we'll have a problem here,” Amelia said back. At this point, everyone else was dead silent and they had this shocked look on their face.

“ you have a death wish huh,” he said trying to move close to her.

“ she's sincerely sorry Mr Madison, apologise to him now Miss Amelia,” the principal said looking at her with so much anger and disgust.

“ I'm sorry Mister, it won't happen again,” She said casually looking at the man. A few minutes later, the men left.

“Miss Amelia!!! To my office Now!” the principal yelled at her and she knew it was gonna be a long day of scolding. After leaving the principal office, she kept wondering how a fine-ass man lacked manners and on top of that, he was a father. No wonder the child looks so sad, what if she is being abused? By that man or maybe neglected without proper care.

“Something is wrong and I need to find out, I'll meet with that man again,” she said to herself and carried on with her duties of the day.

The day went by so fast and she left for her house.
