Lily's POV.

“This is your room, William's room is just beside yours” the red headed Sarah said in a low voice as she opened the door that led to my new room.

“Thank you” I replied as I entered my room with August and our luggage. After Arla had told me clearly to my face that she would make my life miserable, she stormed off and the rest of the family dispersed one after the other except Sarah, Damien's wife. She brought me up to my room afterwards so here we are.

She stood at the door quietly while I placed August on the bed to sit. Then she finally spoke up after a few seconds, “You are very bold to come here, even with my ‘rich’ background, I still have to watch my six against the three Carter siblings” she started and chuckled slightly.

I turned to look at her, she wasn't that bad, I mean she was the only person who tried to make conversation with me unlike the others. The house looked like a load of drama so I'll take what I get. I chuckled and asked, “Wow, are they that scary?”

Growing up as an orphan and my early pregnancy, I have encountered a lot of things, bad people and what not. Some encounters made me more resilient and some added to my trauma. Either way, I have seen much worse to be spooked by Arla's threat.

Sarah grinned, “You will have to find out about that, I don't give spoilers. All you need to know is that Arla might not be desperate to lead in the family business like her two older brothers but being an actress makes her drunk on fame and attention so she would go crazy if anything or anyone were to taint it”

“Wait, she is the popular actress of the current trending movie right? I thought her face looked familiar… wow” I exclaimed in surprise. I had been wondering where I knew Arla from and after hearing from Sarah it finally clicked. To think that such a lovable character in the movie could be such a devil in real life was shocking.

“Yeah…” Sarah trailed off as her eyes landed on the now sleeping August, then she asked, “Down syndrome right?”

I glanced at my body and nodded with a small smile.

“You should be very careful here, protect him…” she began to say but her voice cracked at the end, her face had dropped and her eyes were full of sudden sadness.

I wanted to ask her what she meant when I heard a familiar voice clear his throat at the door. It was William, he was back.

Sarah's face fell, seemingly to have crawled back into her timid shell, she did a simple nod and disappeared before I could say anything.

“Nevermind Sarah, she can be a little weird. Anyway I'm back with the marriage contract papers, the for show wedding will take place in three days” William said as he walked into the room and handed me the papers.

“Three days? Why the rush?” I asked in surprise as I went through the paper halfheartedly.

William sighed, “I need to have an heir or else my position will go to my brother, he is intent on taking everything I have and worked for” he paused and pointed on the paper, “Sign here” then he handed me a pen.

“Why? Isn't he your brother, your family?” I asked in confusion as I began signing the paper. I hope I won't regret signing this.

William replied with a distant look on his face, “He’s doing it for revenge”

I had just finished signing so I raised my head to look at him properly but before I could ask him what he meant, hurried footsteps barged into the room.

It was Toby, if I remember correctly, Arla's husband.

“Brother in-law, you need to go online and check the trending news” he said hurriedly as a matter of urgency, he looked quite anxious.

“What is it?” William frowned and asked as he collected the legal papers from me.

“It’s… uhm… just check” the man stammered in reply.

William sighed and brought out his phone, with a few taps he suddenly froze and his face went from confused to angry. I got curious watching them get so worked up and agitated so I walked closer and peeped on William's phone. What I saw made my eyes widen in disbelief and shock.

There were pictures, pictures of me and William from earlier today, even one with my son. And the headline read: William Carter, billionaire and CEO of the Carter real estate caught in a scandalous affair with a stripper, plans marriage with her after getting her pregnant.

I staggered back in shock while William flung his phone to the bed and with a livid face barked out, “Who did this?”

“We…we don't know yet. We are still trying to find out while trying to ensure the news doesn't spread any more than this” Toby answered almost immediately. I guess Toby was in the family business too.

Just then, August broke out in tears, he must have woken up from the noise. I quickly went to him, trying to calm him down. The fact that my son's face was all over social media made me pissed, I didn't like it at all. I felt a little bit of regret, what if by signing this contract, I have indirectly exposed my poor son to danger. Did I act too fast?

“Well, it has to be someone close, only the people in the house know about this marriage. Or did your wife do this?” William eyed Toby suspiciously, I also turned to look at Toby, I wouldn't put it past her.

“No, no, I'm sure of it. She cares about her name too much to do this” Toby defended like his mouth was full of hot coals. Sarah did say that too.

“Then who fucking did it?” William barked out again, increasing August cries in the process.

I was about to send him a glare when his phone suddenly began ringing. I was close to it so I could see the caller ID, it read:

Damien

CHAPTER FIFTY-THREEDamien’s POVI love when I set out to do one evil deed and a free opportunity to do more presents itself. I came today with no plan; all I wanted was to disturb Will’s peace a little, remind him I am still alive, and maybe remind Aria that she said she would help me inherit the company. But then heaven blessed me, and I found August outside. The boy had run to me, calling me daddy. I watched in amusement as he hugged my legs, giggling, then looked up and frowned.“You are not my daddy,” he said, puzzled.“No, I am not,” I replied with a sly smile.August giggled again. “But you look so much like him. I thought you were him.”“No,” I said, shaking my head. “But,” I continued “We are brothers.”I was amused that Lily’s son called Will's father. Lily sure knows how to make people take responsibility for things they did and did not do, just like she made me pay for... our incident. Now, she has Will playing daddy for August and her so-called unborn child, whom we are

CHAPTER FIFTY-TWOLily’s POVWill and I had successfully avoided work for an entire week, and Aria had been planning creative ways to kill me. But with Will always on my mind, I found it hard to care. Will thought I didn’t know what he was doing when he ‘accidentally’ locked my room door and lost the key, or when the maid ‘mistakenly’ dropped my laundry in his room. I didn’t say anything about it. I liked it. I liked to pretend I wanted my room, but if Will ever asked me to go to my room, I would die. Literally, I would fall and die.It was 10:32 AM on a Sunday, and August was free today. Will had his therapy session canceled so we could all go out as a family.I gently disentangled myself from Will’s body and quietly climbed down from the bed. I threw on one of Will’s shirts because I was too lazy to go to my room or find my clothes in his second drawer.Tying my hair into a messy bun, I walked out of the room to spend a little time with August alone, something that was hardly possib

CHAPTER FIFTY-ONEWill’s POVI don’t blame Aria for hating Lily. She is right. Lily is good for me.Should I be dressed and ready to go to work? Yes.Do I need to go to work? Yes.Am I dressed and ready to go to work? No.Will I go? Hell no!I had called Toby again to tell him I wasn't going to make it to work. My excuse? I’m sick. Was I sick? No, but I would be if I didn’t taste Lily one more time. Lily had excused herself to go back to her room to get dressed. I’ll have to get her things brought here, or if she likes her room so much, I can move to it. It doesn’t matter, but all this separate room nonsense is not going to work.“You’re not dressed?” Lily asked, barging into my room to pick up clothes she left in my bedroom.“No,” I said, grinning.“What?” She asked, stopping to look at me. “Why are you staring at me like that?”“I like the way you entered my room like it’s yours.”Nothing can replace the pleasure of seeing Lily blush as she quickly disappeared into the bathroom to p

CHAPTER FIFTYLily POVIt was Monday morning, and I woke up to small kisses being trailed along my neck. I groaned and sank deeper into the feel of Will.It is Monday morning and after what could only be described as the best weekend in history, I do not want to wake up let alone go to work.“Open your eyes, Lily,” Will growled. “I know you are awake.”I did not open my eyes. I did not want to open my eyes. Maybe if I keep my eyes closed long enough, I would be able to keep him here in bed with me throughout the day.“Can we not just stay?” I groaned.“Of course we can, we can stay as long as you want but that would only give Aria more reasons to hate you and make the papara—Will didn’t get any other words out as I brought my lips to his kissing him gently. Will sighed into the kiss and wrapped his arms around my back and my neck drawing me deeper in. God, I’d missed this—it had only been hours, but I missed it already. I missed feeling like we were both going to lose it if we did no

Damien’s POV“You foolish man, I thought getting drunk was my thing,” Lyon said. He had been scolding me and telling me things I did not care for.He is right though, getting excessively drunk is his thing, not mine. He was leading me to the car so we could go home I suppose.“I do not want to go home.” I slur.“I am sure. Your wife will kill you if you go home like this.” Lyon said and laughed loudly. “I thought you said you were a changed man? Change my ass man.”“Oh shut the fuck up.”Lyon laughed again and retrieved the car key from my pocket.“shit.” He cursed. “You have to stand on your own, wait while I go get the key, I think you left it on the table we used.”Immediately Lyon left me I fell flat on my butt drawing unwanted attention and Lyon's unwarranted laugh. He left me there struggling with no success to get back on my feet. He came back a minute later with the key. “Remind me to never let you drink this much ever again,” he said helping me into the car.“Fuckkk-you,” I sa

  • Contracted To A Stripper    Chapter 48

Lily's POVOne day, I would rip out my heart and throw it away. It had made it its life mission to always embarrass me when it came to William Carter. I couldn't even pretend to act cool and composed around him, especially when I was this close to him. The only thing giving me comfort was the fact that our heartbeats were synchronized, and I could hear his heart too.He was sniffing my neck, nuzzling his nose against it, and gently running his hand from my neck to my waist consistently. I wondered why. Before, when he was just a client, he would quickly go straight to the point. He made sure I was comfortable first, yes, but there was hardly any cuddling or sniffing.“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do this,” he said.“Sniff me?” I had long ditched the thought that I would have any composure or class when it came to Will. My voice sounded like I was struggling to breathe, let alone talk, and that couldn’t be closer to the truth. Will chuckled. His voice was low, lower than us
