Maya’s POV

“Look at me,” he commanded.

I obeyed him even if I was hesitant and lifted my head up and my eyes met with his. His eyes were dark and unreadable and it made my breathe hitch.

His eyes… why did his eyes always do this to me? His eyes drew me in and I found myself getting lost in those blue eyes of his that looked like the sky and the ocean at the same time. His eyes were beautiful and they kept pulling me in, I tried to look away but I couldn’t even if I wanted to.

As much I hated to admit it, I didn’t want to look away from him, I wanted to get lost in his eyes- they left me defenseless and commanded every of my thoughts and attention. It was as if no one else but us existed in that moment, his eyes had so much power that it always commanded my sense and left me breathless.

The room was silent around us or so I thought, or felt but I could not decide which was which, I was too focused on his eyes that I could barely register anything else in our surroundings.
