The Unbreakable Anvil

The Armory was called The Unbreakable Anvil or the Anvil for short. It wasn't the only blacksmith shop in the Capital, but it was the most famous and the only one set in the South District. The nobles made sure that the commoners wouldn't be armed. It was a law that they couldn't wield weapons. Only those permitted by the Emperor were allowed. I was a lucky exception. Nobles were also another exception. The leaders needed to protect themselves. At least that's what they told themselves.

The number of adventurers in the Captial was one (we'll get to them later). There wasn't even a Guild building. This was for a reason. The Nobles had determined that the Adventurers were a possible threat and sanctioned that they could not work in the Capital. Clearhall, the second-largest city in Chadel, was where the Adventurers Headquarters resided and was an Adventurer governed city.
