POV Eric Lafallete. After four rogues attacked my sides, I destroyed their jugulars with a blind rage. I hear Aika shout ENOUGH! And a beam of light coming from her body blinds us, making it difficult for us to see what was happening. POV Eric Lafallete. A week has passed since Isabella's birthday catastrophe. During this week we have been extremely busy dealing with all the effects that an invasion of rogues has. The main consequence? Safety. The Assessment is only a week away and some of the packs questioned our safety. But others have praised the fierceness of my pack. That is why we have increased security and some warriors from the Midnight Pack, with whom we share the southern border, were kind enough to provide it for us. I think it has to do with Isabella being a convergent wolf, which has meant an increase in packs that have requested alliances with us. POV Prince Alec Tassara. I walk through the corridor and watch as Peter, our beta, comes out of my father's office with a worried face. I stop him and say, “What's going on? Your face tells me that there are serious problems.” He sighs, then replies, “Go in and talk to your father. It's about Isabella.” As soon as I hear Isabella's name mentioned, I feel my heart race and a feeling of deep concern wash over me. I rush into my father's office, where I find him sitting, lost in his thoughts. Whatever he's thinking definitely has him anxious, as I watch a crinkle form between his eyes. I clear my throat as I say, “Father, what is happening?” My father echoes as he says, “Rogues.” I frown. Then I ask, “How? Where? What happened?” He speaks with an icy voice saying, “They attacked the Gentle Dawn Pack when they were celebrating Isabella's birthday. POV Isabella Di'Giotanno. The last thing I remember was that we were falling after it felt like a million punches in the stomach. Rogues. The rogues invaded my pack. I look around me, and I only see darkness. “Aika! Where are you? Aika comes on. It's not funny. Stop hiding from me. Where we are? Aika!” I scream without response. Only the constant echo of my words resonates within an endless empty space. Then I hear, “Isabella?” I quietly reply, “Who is it?” I hear a soft and distant voice. And this is how I observe how all the images of my life pass through my eyes in a second. Then I watch the images fade as if I were watching an old television. Silence... Deafening silence... Seconds seem like minutes, and minutes seem like hours. The image slowly returns, lighting up, and I appear in a place where everything is white. POV Isabella Di´Giotanno. Artemis tells me we should visit her sisters. She takes my hand while with the other she tightly grips her book. She closes her eyes while reciting some words that seem to be witchcraft. "Aderfí, aderfí se kaló kai se epikaloúmai, stop me sto vasíleió sou, áse me na bo sto vasíleio tis selinis."
