Naina's POV

We bought the veg cutlet from the nearby shop and went to her house and rang the doorbell.

After few seconds Mom opened the door and there was a surprise in her eyes which was followed by a smile as soon as she saw us.

"Happy Birthday Mom,” we both wished her together.

"Thank you,” she said as we both went inside and locked the door.

"I thought you forgot my birthday,” she said to Ranveer as he hugged her.

"How can I forget your birthday?" he mumbled in her hug.

After that she hugged me and whispered a small 'Thank you.'

"Mom we had bought a cutlet for you,” he said and went to the kitchen and bought some plates and put the cutlet in the plate and we sat to have it.

"Thank you. You know how much I like cutlet,” she said as she took a bite.

"And that's why Ranveer prepared cutlet for you,” I said and he looked at me and nodded his head in a no.

“Why did you tell her?” he whispered in my ear.

"What? Really?" Mom asked.

"I had prepared it but I had put too much salt in it,”
