Court’s verdict

Matteo was silently jubilant.

Although, he did not appreciate his mother involving herself. He wondered how she knew about the situation. He looked at the rear view mirror to get a look at his wife. She seemed hopeful.

Matteo drove into the garage, killed the engine and got out of the car. Mrs Armani and Diana followed. Diana went for the stairs immediately they were in the house. They was no point in staying among the two people who hated her the most.

Matteo and his mother retired into the kitchen. Matteo had not sat down before his mother began to berate him.

"I don't know what you saw in her, Matteo. People like her don't know what's good even if they were hit in the face it," She proclaimed.

Matteo opened the fridge and brought out a big plastic bottle of orange juice. He grabbed himself a glass cup and poured himself a moderate quantity. He ignored his mother as he sipped his cold juice.
