Valen’s POV

"What? You are no longer concerned about how you cheated and it is who told me that is more important?," I said.

“No… Valen, it is not like that…” she cried

“There is nothing you would tell me that would make me to believe you period. So it is better that you start saying the truth”

“ I am telling the truth… please hear me out”

“You are not telling the truth!”

"Valen, please," Veyra said, struggling to get out of bed. "You have to believe me. I think I was rugged. Somebody does not like me. Somebody wants to see us break up. Someone did this to me. I think this is staged me. This is all set up!”

"Set up?" I laughed bitterly. "Now you have changed the direction of your life. I didn’t even think you were horrible. I thought you were an angel that the moon God has sent to me…”

“Valen…”

“What are you trying to say!” I snapped. “You expect me to believe that a random man drugged you and slept with you?”

"Yes!" she said, finally managing to stand, but her legs were vibrating like she was going to fall at any moment. "I think I was sexually assaulted, Valen! We need to find this man who did this to me!” she has fear written all over her face now. “Did you see him? Tell me that you got him and he is rotting in your dungeons. Please show me this man. He touched me without my consent”

"My goodness, you are so dramatic!" I shouted. "You just keep lying and acting a whole lot of drama. You need to leave. I will call for assistance if you need, just make sure you go away from me. We are breaking up. From now on, stay away from my life.”

"Valen, please," she sobbed, trying to hold me. "Remember our love. I swore an oath to you. I could die if we break up. You have to believe me."

"Don't you even dare to touch me with your bitch ass hands!" I said, backing away in irritation . "You disgust me."

But she kept coming like she knew that I was struggling in my mind with Dada not to let her go. She has tears and mucus all over her face now. "Please, just listen to me. You need to listen to me. That man assaulted me. I don’t know him from anywhere. My brain is completely empty from what happened last night. He might have been a rogue that came to attack your father using me because everybody knows that we are dating. I just went to the pantry and I do not know what happened again…” she tried to explain to me, but the worst part that she was trying to touch me and at that point it irritated me

"I said don't touch me!" I yelled as she reached for my arm.

She fell to her knees, her legs disappointing her "I swear to you, on the moon goddess, I never cheated on you. I will never cheat on you. Period. If I ever cheat on you let me die! I swear on my parents grave, if I ever cheated on you let me not leave to see tomorrow”

“Veyra, I said fuck off! Why don’t you understand! Fuck your things and go!”

“After everything we've been through, after I almost died saving you, how could you think I would do this? Why would I save somebody that I would cheat on? Why would I cheat on you after almost dying for your sake?

The mention of her saving my life made me pause a little and consider what she was saying, but Dada I pushed it down. "Nobody really understand why cheats do what they do,” I said with finality

She crawled toward me on her knees, reaching for my legs. "Please, Valen. You know me. I swear to you once that you were the only man that would touch me… it has been like that since…”

What she said just filled me with rage? Does he take me for a fool or what? I saw her underneath another man in a missionary position, and she is here on her knees, tears in her eyes, telling me that no man had ever touched her apart from me? Before I knew what I was doing, I swung my hand up and landed it on her face

She screamed, landing on her back- one hand clutching her face, the other hand holding her belly

"You caused it,” I said coldly. “If you had just kept your hands to yourself”

She couldn’t believe what just happened. “Valen," she whispered with unbelief in her face and tears in her eyes. “Valen, you just hit me for something I did not do.”

"And I will hit you again if you don’t get out of my face! I said, get out!" I yelled at her with everything I had in me. "Are you dumb!? I said you are irritating me! Go away!."

She wobbled up to her feet, still crying. "Please, just tell me how I can find this man. I need him to come and tell you that I don’t know him”

I watched her wobble to her bag, moving like an old woman. Dafa forced me to stay where I was and let her multiple times as she tried to get up

“You don’t need to tell me anything or prove anything to me. Your best friend, Gina has been telling me for a long time how you have been cheating on me with everybody. Even guys from school. You are ridiculous”

Veyra looked at me in awe. "Gina," she said softly.

"Yes, Gina," I said. "Your best friend."

“I.. I don’t understand… how…? why…? Gina?” her voice rose a pitch as she questioned me

“You know what? I don’t know, okay!? Go and meet your best friend and sort it out with her! For now just get out of my house!”

Veyra stared at me, horrified at everything happening to her. At this point, there were so much emotions in her face. She kept looking at me to a point where I felt uncomfortable and just wanted to sit down and listen to her as she had been requesting, but Dada was not having it. When she got tired of looking at me, she decided that it was time to pack her things as I had been asking her to do. She started packing, but she was slow

Finally, she finished packing a little time to go. She decided that she had to tell me one last thing, or beg at least. “I didn't cheat on you. Just hear me out, please?”

“Get out before I call security,” I said with finality in my voice

Just as she was going out of the room, Gina was coming in and they met themselves at the door entrance

“Oh my God, Veyra!” Gina said in an excited high pitch. “You are walking already , you look better!” she opened ups her hand for a hug

But Veyra was not having it. It was said that was the perfect chance to ask her serious questions. “You bitch!” Veyra screamed her lungs out, dropping her back to the ground as if ready for a fight. With how loud her scream was, I wondered if she had been faking the coma too, because where did that strength to scream so loud come from?
