Marcella’s pov

She sounded cold on the phone. I was worried it was bad news, maybe her dad is terribly ill or maybe even worse.

“What’s wrong Lucille?” I asked soaked in worry.

Her voice was shaky on the other end of the phone before she spoke.

“I’m sorry…” she said softly.

But all my mind could think of is what exactly she is apologizing for?

“Why are you sorry?” I asked. Ahh …. maybe it’s because of the way she left and that she never came back, if that was the reason there was no need to be

  • Craving you: Locked Desires   Chapter 173

Marcella’s povIt was Patrick. My anger boiled even more.“What are you doing here?” I looked at him with a death shot eye.“Your mum invited me” “No, I mean in my room”. Clearly it was obvious, his coming to our house was inevitable but to my room. I needed explanation.“I noticed you were home and wanted to talk to you briefly…I promise I won’t take long”.He sounded serious and business minded, I was tired of fighting…now I just wanted to listen. Whatever bullshit he had to say, he should be done with it real fast.I lowered my guard and sat on the bed.“Miss Solis….why won’t you marry me?” He asked bluntly.I let out a mocking scoff. “Is that it? Is that what you wanted to talk about? If you were in my shoes, would you marry yourself? This is utterly meaningless.” I stood up, ready to walk right past him and leave.“Yes…” he called out to me “I will…as long as it’s of good fortune and ends the turbulence”. He defended.I turned back to look at him, confused by what he was saying.

  • Craving you: Locked Desires   Chapter 172

Marcella’s povTruly, the say mothers know everything. They see what we can’t, predict what is happening, what will happen and what is yet to happen. If not all mothers had that super power, mine did.I couldn’t carry my legs as the weight of the rejection broke me, i walked slowly, almost in tears, walking down the road alone. I pictured the last scene in her house, the girls all over her, how she claimed to deceive me. I couldn’t still believe that the Lucille I had known changed over night. We used to be happy together, be so much in love. All the memories of how we were always together, came flooding back to me. I almost broke down on the road. I reached a nearby wall and leaned on it for support. If everything was a lie she was damn good. Because I believed her so well. When I finally made it back to the apartment, I buried myself under the covers of my bed. Rose wasn't home, which felt like a rare blessing. It gave me the quiet time I needed to reflect on my life and the choice

  • Craving you: Locked Desires   Chapter 171

Lucille’s povBreaking up with Marcella was the hardest moment of my life. Someone I had fought to be with, broken all my rules just to have to myself, defiled my family. But by a single threat, the type that hurts only the ones I love, I had no choice. It was so hard to sum up the courage to do it, I struggled with my mind, my heart. But I had no choice. After I made that call, the sound of disbelief she gave on the phone made me understand one thing, she wasn’t ready to accept it, I wasn’t too but there’s no other way. I wouldn’t do it if it was my life on the line. It was my dad. When I hung up, I looked at my parents. How carried away in sleep my mum was, she was taking care of her husband for long, it’s natural that she should be so tired and my dad, an unconscious figure on the bed, if things could get any worse because of my love for Marcella, then my parting is worth the sacrifice. My heart ached deeply and I wanted to cry, to just let it out. But would it help? Knowing I wa

Ahh …. maybe it’s because of the way she left and that she never came back, if that was the reason there was no need to be sorry because I understood perfectly. This was family crises, family always comes first.“I’m not mad, I…I know you had a lot to deal with, I just want to know everything is fine over there”.She ignored my question but she didn’t remain silent on me, her next words came unexpected.“Ella….lets break up”.A sudden, sharp ringing pierced my ears, deafening me. The world went mute. I stared blankly into the room, convinced I hadn't heard her correctly. We both remained silent on the phone. I made

  • Craving you: Locked Desires   Chapter 169

Lucille pov For a while, everything was working out perfectly for me, my track game, my love life, everything. I had completely forgotten about her threats and his warnings. It was on that exact day that everything fractured in a flash. It was my mom. The moment I answered, she was wailing and sobbing uncontrollably on the other end. "Mom... what's wrong?" I asked, my voice filled with fear. But she just kept crying, and the tears were honestly beginning to get on my nerves. "Can you please just talk to me?" I begged through her sobs. She paused for a brief moment to catch her breath. "It's your dad. He was stabbed on his way home from work... he's in the hospital." Her words hit me like a physical blow, throwing me completely off the edge. I stood there, utterly speechless. Was this actually true, or was it just another one of her mindless pranks? "Which hospital...?" I asked, my breath catching in my throat as I started to shake. "Milan Hospital," she sniffed, her voice cr

  • Craving you: Locked Desires   Chapter 168

Marcella’s pov These past few days had been pleasant. I honestly hadn’t believed a reality like this would ever happen for us, but look at us now, finally living our lives. I had completely forgotten about home, my family, and Patrick. I was truly happy and content with what I had. We went out together constantly, always holding hands, though we intentionally refrained from any overt displays of public affection. She felt it was important that we took things gradually and I liked the idea with everything going on at home. But everything changed that night. Just one night. We went on a date to a live band concert, had a bit too much to drink, and danced together as if the world belonged to us alone. Right in the middle of it all, her phone started ringing, and she stepped away to answer it. I would have followed her, but I figured it couldn't be anything too urgent. I waited for her, but she was gone for what felt like far too long. When I finally stepped outside to look for her,

  • Craving you: Locked Desires   Chapter 120

Lucille’s pov I needed something serious to pull her out. Being gentle wasn’t going to work anymore. I had to pull a difficult string. I wrote a threatening letter and gave it to a random boy at the park to help deliver it to her. I instructed him to pretend it was his and pass it through someon

  • Craving you: Locked Desires   Chapter 119

Marcella’s pov I ran back home with fear consuming me. Rose was home, and the moment I burst through the door, she noticed how uneasy and frightened I looked. I followed the instructions written in the letter carefully. “Marcella… are you okay?” she asked, observing my mood closely. I couldn’t

  • Craving you: Locked Desires   Chapter 118

Marcella’s pov I had made up my mind to live the way I wanted. I had finally realized something painful, my relationship with Lucille could never be what I wanted it to be, open, free, and accepting. Everything I had dreamed of was nothing but a fantasy. She wasn’t ready to be seen, and I wasn’t

  • Craving you: Locked Desires   Chapter 117

Lucille’s pov I waited until he came out of the bathroom. I watched him as he got dressed, still thinking of how to put my question together. How do I make it sound normal? Casual, without implicating myself? I didn’t realize how lost I was in thought until he shook me. “Lucille!” he called, st
