Ethan’s POV

It’s now been two weeks since Elizabeth signed the engagement contract. Now I badly regret not making it a marriage contract instead.

It’s the weekend today and I could have gone to work but I decided to spend the day with Spitfire.

“I’ve already been shown around the house. Alexa did that like—the first day I stepped into this house.” Spitfire’s emerald green eyes are glowing as she protests.

“There’s no harm in being shown around again—by me.” I smirk.

I’m standing in her doorway. Since that night I kissed her in her sleep and she woke up… she hasn’t let me into her room.

A smile tugs at the corner of my mouth as I reminisce about that beautiful moment.
