Chapter 20 Hearts Knot

"It's good you're awake. Let's talk. What's the problem, and you have to get drunk with that man, Ally?" I yelled, following her into the kitchen.

She caressed her face, stretched her arms, showing her irritation, then turned to me.

"Seriously? You're asking me, Hannah? Why don't you ask yourself in the mirror? Perhaps there is an answer," she said philosophically.

"I'm talking to you, Ally, don't be a philosopher. Answer me aptly," I come closer and look into her eyes.

We were only about an inch away from each other, wearing her long loose t-shirt, and so am I had nothing inside. Our boobs slightly wiggle as we move.

"You've been gone for almost three days." Her voice was clipped and filled with a dark rage as she faced me closer, our chests barely touched.

"Yes, because of you. I hate you, Ally," I averted, avoiding the topic. I had realized that was my mistake.

"Ah, so you're saying it's my fault you're gone for three days?" she winced and stroked her forehead.
