Jules' shoes were in her hands when she got down from the car. Her head was throbbing violently, and her eyes were heavy as she stopped herself from replaying how she'd found Cassie.

Somehow, that grown ass woman had crawled into Brad's room even in her drunken state.

But that wasn't the worst part.

When Jules searched the hallway on the floor Cassie had hurried to, she'd stopped at one door which was opened a crack. She'd ignored her instinct and peered through, only to find Cassie on her knee
