26 : box and bouquet

Bianca let out a deep sigh under Mat's amused look.

She had come home, exhausted and excited by her last night's encounter.

"You should rest today, B. We don't have any reservations. It'll be quiet," Mat said calmly as he restocked beer bottles in the fridge. "It's an hour's drive from the Crescent Moon Pack to the Crossroad Café. You must be exhausted."

Bianca slowly nodded and leaned forward, elbows placed on the bar. "I saw him again."

"Saw who again?" asked Mat without looking at her. He was working quickly, skillfully lining up bottles one after the other.

"Mr. Fantastic."

Mat knocked a bottle to the floor, but thankfully, without damage. He quickly turned back to her, widening his eyes. "THE Mr. Fantastic?"

"The very one," she said, shaking her head. "And mind you, he asked me to go with him tonight."

Mat quickly straightened up, nervously running his hands through his hair. "Oh. And, did you tell him yes?"

She bit her lower lip and nodded again. "I told him yes in the
