Giovanni's POV

“He’s been quiet for two days,” Alana said, leaning on the doorframe and talking with Kenzo and Ace.

The three of them managed to execute our plan without bothering me for the past few days. I couldn’t bring myself to think about anything other than the fact that—I have a child with her.

“ You really won’t tell us what happened?” Alana asked again, looking at Ace with a firm expression.

I told him to keep it a secret until I knew how to deal with it. Gabriella is cruel. I thought I already experienced the biggest heartbreak when she left without saying anything until I learned the truth.

I ignored them and focused my gaze on the ceiling of my room. I’ve been here for two days and even if I wanted to confront Gabriella about her child—our child, I am fucking scared. I didn’t know what was worse, what did I ever do to her to deserve this kind of treatment? In those seven years, I spent my whole life looking for her. So why? Why would she do this to me?
