" Crista Jin, are you prentending to be pure in front of me?" William was still sitting on the sofa. He threw an unrelenting stare at her.
When she responded nothing even after a long minute, a man shouted aloud, " Didn't you hear what Mr. Ding said?" His voice boomed across the room, making her jump in fear.
The next moment, he was in front of her, roughly raising her chin. Everyone present in the room now could clearly see her face. Crista also settled her eyes on the man sitting in the center for the first time.
William Ding. It turn out her husband was him.
"Mr.Ding, I didn't expect your wife to be so beautiful. No wonder many men like to keep company with her."
Crista Jin was really beautiful. She had a delicate figure with doe-like eyes which were as black as kohl. However, due to panic, her eyebrows were knitted together.
She indeed had the aura of attractiveness around her that many men could fall for her easily. Only a glance of her would suffice to make a man fall for her.
"Are you scared?" William stared down at her and asked in a menacing tone. Scared?. Yes! She was indeed scared.
"Say something! Don't act like stupid statue!" He yelled at her angrily.
"I...I..." She shuttered. She wanted to say something but words didn't come out. They seemed to get lost somewhere in her throat. She didn't know how she could talk to this dangerous man.
"As per your previous reputation, you've dated a lot of men. Why are you pretending to be scared then?" William hated a woman who change color like a chameleon. And he hated the woman in front of him the most. If he hadn't heard about her past, She's have deceive him.
" Mr. Ding, teach her a lesson so that she will be obedient and wont cheat on you in the future." one of William's mena said with contemp.
"I am not pretending. I won't cheat on you." Crista finally opened her mouth.
"I hope so! Otherwise, the Jin Family won't be able to live anymore!" William warned her with a harsh voice.
"Alright! alright! Let's go now! Let's not disturb Mr. Ding " Although it was a wedding without any ceremony, she signed her name and sold her whole life to this devil.
All people left the room when they saw the look in William's eyes. The originally lively room, instantly became empty, leaving only the two of them, with the smell of smoke and alcohol thar had not yet dissipated.
"Get up!" William was still sitting on the sofa. On eof his long legs crossed gracefully over other.
Regardless of the pain in her body, Crista finally managed to stand up. The wedding dress was a little burdensome, and the tail was long. She pulled the dress tightly with her hands, revealing the white high heels on her feet.
"Come, sit by my side." Looking at her coldly, William wondered why she was so pretentious tonight. She used to be bold. as soon as she sat down, William pushed a cigarette in her mouth. "I can't smoke!" she said in a low voice.
"Can't smoke?" William snorted. The famous girl of Jin Family couldn't smoke? William then forced a wine glass in her hand. "Okey, then drink it!"
"I can't drink!" Crista refused again. She was afraid that she would pass out if she drank wine. William frowned. But, this time he didn't let her go easily. He cupped her face with his big hand and poured the wine in the glass into her mouth.
Crista choked on the strong wine. She coughed. The strong taste of alcohol made her tear up. "Cristine, are you kidding me?" William burst into laughter.
"From now on, you are Mrs. Ding. Such a title is not something ordinary people can have." William wanted to make it clear it from the very beginning that he wouldn't tolerate her bad behaviors.
'I don't want that title at all' Crista almost said that aloud but refrained herself.
Mrs. Ding? She didn't care about it at all. She just wanted to go to school freely. She wanted to wait for her beloved Tristan to come back. But all her dreams had been shattered.
"What's wrong? Don't you like it?" Seeing the displeasure in her eyes, William said, "Oh yes! You are Miss Jin, you can have any kind of man you want. Right?"
Crista purse her lips and didn't say anything. It was not that she didn't want to speak, but her stomach was aching. She covered her mouth and saw a glass of water on the table.
To soothe the uncomfortableness in her stomach, she reach forward and took the glass, she reach forward and took the glass and gulped it down. But, she couldn't swallow it. She sputtered it out. Bacause, it wasn't water but a vodka.
"Oh! So, you like vodka!" William was starting to believe. Maybe she was telling the truth. She didn't drink. But maybe she was just good at pretending.
"No. I just..." Before she could finish her words, she clutched the sofa beside her and vomited out everything. As she didn't have any solid food, all that came out was acid water.
William helped her get up after that and lifted her on her shoulder. He took her to the bedroom and threw her on it.
Crista's head was already heavy and it hit the bedside table. Her forehead immidiately swelled up. She felt dizzier as the pain made her wince. William, however, didn't show any mercy on the woman in frony of him. He just looked at her hungrily.
Things were about to start.
You Are Not The Baby's Father Lewis sighed as he made Crista sit down on the sofa. "Will you feel bored staying at home?" Looking at him, Crista hesitated for a while before she shook her head. "Aren't you afraid that I might run away?" "Yes, I am." Lewis looked at her. He was obviously anxious. The only thing that scared him was Crista leaving him. "Then I won’t go out. I am afraid that I won't be able to control myself." Even though Crista knew that William had died, she still wanted to see him. She loved him so much, but she could not even see him one last time. "He is dead. Why are you so stubborn? Even if you did go back, what can you do now?” Lewis wondered why she was being so stubborn about returning to William. Did it mean that he would never get her love even though William had died? Would she never show him any mercy at all? "Then why do you have to do that? You can just leave me alone." Crista didn't want him to interfere her affair! He had lied to her many times n
There Was Still No News About Her Lewis walked over to Crista and saw her in a daze. "What's wrong, Chica? Do you feel sick?" Her face had turned paler, which worried him. Looking at him, Crista remained silent. She didn't stop him when he put his coat on her shoulder and helped her sit on the bed. "If you don't feel good, then you'd better take rest. Don't you remember that the doctor asked you to rest in bed for the first three months?" Lewis felt like he was talking to himself. Was she even listening to him? Crista reached out and touched her belly. Only when she felt the child in her belly would she feel relieved. Leaning against the bed, Crista took a glance at the newspaper that was on the bedside table. She had not thrown it away yet. Perhaps she was using it to remind herself that she should not forget William. Lewis sat next to her and talked to her, but Crista ignored him and fell asleep. A bitter smile appeared on Lewis' lips. He could talk for hours, but she would sti
Will You Be With Me Then, Lewis made Crista sit up and lean against a cushion. "Have some congee first, Chica. You haven't eaten properly for a few days. Or do you want to eat something else? I can ask Sara to make it for you." Crista had no appetite for the food in front of her, but still, she slowly ate as Lewis fed her until the congee was finished. "Chica, you need to take good care of yourself. You need to start eating well because your baby needs the nutrition." Lewis wiped her mouth with a tissue. "My baby," Crista murmured. "I still have a baby." "Yes, Chica. You still have your baby. That’s why you have to take good care of yourself so you won’t hurt your child." Lewis looked at her. Perhaps the thought of her child could snap her out of her lethargy and give her a reason to move on. "My baby, what are we going to do? It’s all my fault that you will never see your daddy. It’s all Mommy's fault, "Crist
He Died To Save Her Crista shook her head. "No way! I want William. He is the father of my child, and he has a right to know about it." Why should she be with Lewis? It was obvious that she resented him. 'What does he mean? And why did he say that he can be with me now that William is not around anymore? William told me that he will be there for me, and that I should wait for him!' Crista remembered it so clearly that it was simply impossible for her to forget his promise to her. "It is true that he has a right to know about your child, but it is too late for that now," Lewis said, looking at her, but in his heart, he was afraid that she might become hysterical and fall unconscious. "What do you mean by too late? What is that supposed to mean, Lewis? What happened to William? I want to see him... No, I need to see him right now!" After saying that, Crista rushed to the middle of the road, and stopped a car th
Let Me Love You In the end, Lewis chose to take Crista away. He went back to the ward, and looked at her. The doctor who followed him in gave her an injection. "Mr. Lui, if you still insist on taking Miss Jin away, then I'll have to finish the paperwork for you so that you will be able to go through the discharge formalities,” the doctor said to Lewis. Money had the power to do anything, so Lewis bribed the doctor to give some tranquilizer for Crista, so that he could take her away from there while she was still asleep. Gian soon arrived at the hospital. "Mr. Lui, everything is done." Lewis nodded and handed him a prescription. "Go through the discharge formalities for Crista first, and once you're done with that, you can go to the pharmacy and get her medicines. I will be taking her downstairs now." After Gia left the ward, Lewis changed Crista's clothes, put his coat on her, picked her up in his arms, and left the h
Escape In The Middle Of The Night If she had shielded William from the bullet, he would have been fine. Crista had done that three years ago, and she survived, so there was a high chance she would be all right again. It was a gamble, yes, but she was willing to take that risk. He should not have pushed her away. She did not need his protection! She now understood William's obsession with keeping her safe. But it was way too late, and she was tethering on the brink of losing her mind. Lewis looked at her, his brows furrowed in jealousy. "You will sacrifice your life for him? If I was the one on the receiving end of that bullet, would you do the same for me?" Crista kept mum, curling up into a ball, her mind tormented. She did not know if she would feel the same for Lewis. All she cared about was how she did not want to see William harmed. Maybe she would save Lewis, or maybe not. The thing was, she had not cont
