“You did what?” I am completely shocked, it’s out of this world shocked and yet my heart feels like it is going to burst with happiness.

“I told my mom that I’m going to transfer to Texas.” He says it like it’s no big deal, but it is a huge fucking big deal. His future for Cali is set, it’s in place. He’ll play college football then go on to play for the State.
