In the hospital, a million things keep running through my mind, and Carter is the only one who can answer them. His ass is snoring in the chair near the window, so to get his attention, I take the water pitcher with ice-cold water in it, and chuck it his way, wanting to get this shit off my mind so I can rest for a while.
