Chapter 36

Maggie didn’t want to move from where she sat even after the girl left. Even when the girl blasted her back into her body she had held on to something in the dark and crawled her way back to the place where she was sitting. The girl was long gone and so was the pin-sized light. She was once again alone in the dark.

Maggie rocked back and forth on her feet. That blinding pain she had felt was long gone and a calm replaced it. She had been so scared of that transformation. When the grey wolf’s teeth closed around her neck it was as if her wolf had gone into a frenzy.
