The Bad News

Isla's POV:

"What do you mean? " I asked and she looked a little uncomfortable. Her lips were sealed together and her brows furrowed as she looked around the room, ignoring eye contact with me. I could sense her discomfort but I really wanted to know about what she had just told me.

She sighed, " I forgot about the laundry. I need to do that as soon as possible otherwise Sabrina will punish me for that. "

My head felt like it would explode any moment and I didn't know what to do or how to think of my situation to make myself feel better.

I crashed on the bed and my eyelids seemed too heavy after all the crying and embarrassment so I decided to take a nap.

Melinda had left without saying any other word to me about his curse. Maybe she was too scared to tell me the secrets which were meant to be kept hidden from me. Not like it mattered to me Or to anyone else. I would be too careful to not get myself tangled in his mess.

'We will be fine. But I feel Alpha does have some emotions. I
