The Danger Post

The moon had hidden behind the clouds, leaving us in complete darkness. The only source of light was the flashlights we carried in our hands. Each step felt like a test of courage, as if we were walking on thin ice, waiting for it to crack beneath us.

As we continued to walk through the eerie woods, I couldn't shake off the feeling that we were being watched. Every rustle of leaves, every snap of a twig, made my heart skip a beat. I couldn't wait to be out of this place.

"Neither could I see any danger nor anything relevant to it!" the guy said, his voice filled with exhaustion. He looked like he was about to collapse at any moment.

"Well, we will have to keep going," the girl said, her voice trembling with fear. I could tell that she was just as scared as the rest of us.

"Danger, danger. Where are you!? Show up. Quickly. We are in a hurry." The guy's voice echoed through the woods, making us all burst into a fit of nervous laughter.
