1. Darkness!

Valerina's POV

It's cold, I trembled and tried to gather the bedsheet around me. At least I have a bedsheet now, I should be grateful. 

Tears slipped from my eyes, why my life is so miserable. 

I blinked my blurry eyes and looked out of the window, As usual I could only see one lamp. I don't know how this lamp stays continuously lit but it's there whenever I open my eyes. 

I don't know if it's day or night, it's always dark. 

Dark and Cold, Like him! 

I don't want this, I don't want to live like this. 

God! Please help me. 

He is a monster, I sobbed but muffled my mouth with my hands. I don't want him to hear me and punish me for crying. 

According to him, only he can make me cry. 

He is darkness and my captor. 

My heart skipped a bit when his smell filled the room. It's so strong that adrenaline rushed in my body. He is here, he came back. 

I have to calm down otherwise he will hurt me. Just lay down like a dead body, Valerina. He will come and go. 

I heard his footsteps and clutched on the bedsheet. 

Don't scream! I bit on my lip until it started bleeding. 

Shit! He can smell my blood. I want to cry out loud on my destiny. He will hurt me now. 

I closed my eyes shut when he snatched the bedsheet away from me, I shivered under the coldness. Why is this place so cold? 

I kept my eyes close because I can't look at him. I have already had an panic attack when I looked at him last time. 

Bed creaked beneath his weight when he laid beside me. 

His smell is so strong, strong but alluring. It always makes me want to hug him but I shouldn't. 

May be that's what monsters do. They allure their prey. 

I almost flinched when he touched my arm. Even his lightest touch is so strong that it can break my arm. 

I am afraid what will happen if he could use his full strength on me. 

My lips wobbled when I felt him touching my hair. My hair are long and I am sure he is playing with it. I can sense it. It's terrifying. 

He turned me around and I gulped.

Don't open your eyes, Don't open your eyes! 

My heart almost stopped beating when I felt his thumb on my lip which is bleeding. 

"How many times do I need to tell you that, no one can make you bleed but me"

I flinched at his tone. 

He knows that I am awake! 

I am so dead. I sobbed when licked the blood off of my lip. His gentle licks turned furious within seconds. His lips are soft but they moves roughly against mine. 

It's hurting, he will rip my lips off.

"P_Please!"

I cried and he stopped, I can't feel his breathing. He doesn't breath. It makes me stutter thinking what kind of creature he is.

"Why are you crying?"

He asked. His deep Voice is enough to make me tremble. 

"It's h_hurting..."

I sobbed. 

"Why were you crying before my presence?"

He questioned.

I know he knows everything, it's so hard to hide from him. I wonder how he finds out whatever I do when he is not present. 

Should I really tell him what I need? Will he think about it? 

I haven't asked anything from him since he has caged me except letting me go which he ignores. 

Should I take the chance? He hurts me anyway. 

"I want to go out..."

I said in weak voice, I don't want him to hurt me. But it's so long since I have seen or feel the sun. 

"In the sun..."

"Open your eyes and say it!"

He demanded.

Oh God! Not that. Please, not that. I sobbed again. 

I flinched at his growl and cried. I have to, I have no choice or else he will kill me. 

I slowly opened my eyes, the room is dimly lit. It was dark, how can it has candles now. It was completely dark before his arrival. 

I can only make out few things like potraits and his presence beside me. 

I slowly looked at him and screamed. 

His eyes are creamson red, sharp fangs are out like he is ready to rip a person.  

Out of fear, I did which I shouldn't have. I tried to run out of the bed. 

I shouldn't have done that because he grabbed my wrist to stop me but instead it broke my wrist. 

Sharp pain shot through my hand making me scream in agony. 

He pulled me back on the bed and grabbed my injured hand and it was too late to control my panic attack. 

My breathing quickened and I struggled to breath. 

I hate that I am so weak, that I can't fight back. 

But what's the use, he is supernatural. I can't win against him. I am a mere human. 

I screamed and cried in pain when he touched my broken bone. 

"Look at me!"

He growled. 

I can't, can't he see that I am having a panic attack. 

Does he even have the heart? No! He doesn't. 

He grabbed my chin and before he broke my jaw, I opened my eyes. 

His red eyes are glaring at me. I tried to scoot away when his eyes glowed. 

Oh god! What is he? 

He pressed me down on the bed so I couldn't move. 

My heart almost jumped out of my chest when he did something to me with his eyes. 

It shot agonising pain throughout my arm. I don't know when my free hand clutched on his shoulder. He feels like a rock. 

Why is he giving me so much pain?

What did I do wrong? 

No matter how many times I ask, he never answers. 

I screamed until I passed out due to pain and last thing I saw was his red glowing eyes. 

Someone please save me...
