I stood up and I saw pain lingering on his face. “What is this?”

Pure anger was displayed on his face, and I could not find the right word to explain myself. A sudden question came across my mind. Why did I accept his deal?

“Kylo…”

“What are you doing in there? Why are you with him instead of staying with me?”

“Kylo I—”

“I woke expecting to see you, but I only learned that you’re here and you haven’t come home for a few days.” His composure was gone, he looked so done.

“Let me explain,”

“Let’s go home now!” He demanded but I could not leave until the deal was over.

“I can’t, I…I,” I could not bring myself to say what I wanted to say. I feel like I need to defend myself and say something I should listen to his anger even if it's lies. Why did it hard to tell him the truth? Maybe because I knew he would not accept it.
