4. Just... Damn!

Worst Nightmare? Hell, her whole life was a freaking nightmare! What's going to be new this time?

Her life is like a dorky hole that she couldn't come out of, so bring it on bitch!

Don't be mistaken, all these are just in her head. If only she could just say them... Just if-

'Brrrrrrrrr!' God, that sound!

She had jumped at the sudden loud blaring sound of the school alarm, indicating it was time for her first class, History.

Then it hit her. She was standing there alone. The whole hall was sparkling empty! How long had she been standing there? Lost in her thoughts...

No! Right now wasn't the right time to start thinking again. She turned to her locker to take her History textbook out when she suddenly heard her name.

"Miss Davies?" She jumped the second time. What is it with these people?!

She turned to face the- Who the hell is that?!

The person who had called her had turned out to be the principal who was standing beside a... demigod? No, c'mon! He's human for sure, I mean...? Right?

He was surely six foot and more. His hair was a darker shade of black but was styled in a way that a few strands were left on his forehead. He had grey eyes behind moderately long lashes that flapped beautifully as he blinked. And a straight long nose that stood firm above a luscious, mouth watering, reddish lips that protruded right above a defined jawline structure-

"Miss Davies!!" The principal had snapped his finger in front of her face in attempt to bring her back from whatever land she was in, since calling out to her severally had been one big failed attempt.

"Si- sir?" She blinked three times, coming back from... Oh, gorgeous boy! land.

The principal, Mr. Collins, tilted his head slightly at her, "Are you okay, Miss Davies?"

Her eyes widened. For no reason at all. "Of course! Of course, I am."

"Then why are you still out here? Alone."

She avoided making eye contact with the... guy, but she knew he was looking at her. She felt it. He was.

"I was... I was just..." Words weren't really her thing. And then being in a compromising state was just... nah uh!

"You were just?"

She wasn't the kind who knew how to make or give excuses, so saying she's run out of excuses was a total ridiculous lie.

Mr. Collins face had a big question mark expression on his face, waiting for her answer.

"I think," The two pair of eyes went straight to the owner of the voice that just spoke, "...she came back to get her book." He removed one of his hands that was earlier tucked in the back pockets of his expensive looking jeans as he waited for the duo to finish their question and answer conversation, and pointed it towards the book in her hand.

Both the principal and the holder of the book looked down at it.

Wow. And you couldn't think of that you silly dork!

She face palmed herself in her head but kept a straight face on.

"Isn't that right?" He directed the question to her as they made eye contact.

"Yes!" She looked away immediately. "Yes." She said again, smiling awkwardly and started walking away, towards the direction of her class.

"Miss Davies?" Mr. Collins called again.

She paused and turned, "Sir?"

He looked at the... guy standing behind him, "Mr. Jackson here is our newest transfer student. His family just moved here and he's in his final year just like you. And he's also in your class. So, why don't you take him along with you? I was doing that till I saw you and since you're going the same way..." He went behind him and pushed him slightly towards her, "...why not take him along?" He smiled at them and then turned around and left.

Mr. Collins for sure didn't know the 'problematic issue' he just caused her. She wasn't great or even good around guys... or anybody in general, but this hot guy was going be real trouble. He seems interactive, that's the problem.

Silence reigned for a couple of seconds. The type she liked, until he broke it.

"Uhm... Hi, I'm Andre." He stretched forth his right hand for a handshake.

She stared at it but her mind was somewhere else. Damn! His voice was just registering in her head and it was just... damn!

His lips formed a thin line at her hesitation. She looked like she wanted to but she was... shy...?

She finally looked up at him, "The class is... that way." She pointed in the direction behind her and turned, "We're already late, so I think we should get goin-"

He held her wrist, preventing her from taking a step and when she didn't turn herself, he dragged her lightly making her turn towards him.

"I don't bite, you know that right?" Their eyes were locked on each other for a couple of seconds before he released her hand and stepped back to give some space in between them.

"So, this class was where again?" He folded his hands across his chest and rose an eyebrow looking down at her.

Despite his towering state, her eyes trailed down to the black bomber jacket he was in. It was almost shiny. It was like-

"Stop it!" She slapped herself hard to clear those distracting thoughts again.

Andre looked shocked at her sudden act but said nothing.

"This way." She had her eyes down as she turned and took careful steps. She was back to her usual self.

Again, Andre said nothing and just followed quietly.

Soon, they had reached the classroom's door. They both paused on hearing the teacher's loud voice explaining something that had to deal with History.

"You should go first!"

"You should go first!" They both said at the same time which was loud enough for the History teacher just right across them to hear.

He turned to the door and cleared his throat, "You may come in now, Miss Davies."

She shut her eyes tight immediately after his words. How the hell did he- She can't be the only student missing, right?

"We're waiting!" Mr. Mark, the middle aged History teacher wasn't going to let her exhaust his time out there.

With no other choice - obviously - she opened the door and walked in. Everyone's eyes were staring at her as she walked in. Some were rolling theirs - Kim and co. But what they didn't expect was for the door to creak open again and with one foot after the other, Andre walked in and stood beside Isa who was still standing in front of the students with her eyes down.

"Oh my..." Someone whistled from the rows of students seated as they all looked shocked and dumbstruck at the sudden appearance of this... sizzling hot guy!

Most of their jaws had dropped on the desks in front of them. Mostly the girls. Seeing a fine handsome guy standing beside the dork of all dorks was a real big shock to them. They even came in together! How?!

"Urm... Miss Davies. It seems you have a new friend you might want to introduce to us?" Mr. Mark had his hands folded and resting on his chest as he waited for the introduction of the new guy. Or whoever he was.

Isa's head sprang up on hearing the word 'friend' and moved from the teacher to the guy standing beside her and back.

"Friend?" It sounded so strange on her tongue. "He's not my friend, he's just a new student. Transfer student. The principal asked me to take him along that's why... he's here... with me." It was then she noticed and understood the glares fired at her by most of the girls.

You know that saying, 'If looks could kill' she'd actually be six foot underneath the surface of planet earth!

Breathe, Isa! Breathe.

"Well then, introduce him. I'm sure the principal introduced him to you, right?"

Her face scrunched in confusion. Like, why should she do it!

But he was adamant on her being the one to introduce him.

She sighed and reluctantly faced the class, "Urm, this is..." Damn it! What did he say his name was again? Ugh-

"Andre Jackson." Again Andre noticed her delay and did the intro himself. Did she actually forget his name? "I'm a transfer student. My family just moved here."

"You're welcome, cutie!" The girls squealed loudly while some guys whistled. Some looked happy to have a cute guy amongst them and in their class but some didn't.
