Chapter 4
SYNCERE'S POV:
"Yo! What the hell was that about? You had no reason to act the way you just did." I said sitting down in my chair to finish my lunch. "Because you never gave me a reason to." Jazz answered back. "Please tell me what I did? Because we were eating and laughing that's it." I said shaking my head. "Those chicks were clearly flirting and that's the problem; yall can't see when chicks be flirting with yall." Jazz's friend Leah chimed in. "You sound dumb, how the hell you know they were flirting? When you couldn't even hear what we were talking about." Shawn cut in."Shut up Shawn you ain't nothing but a man whore, so you don't care that those girls were flirting. Knowing you're nasty ass I'm sure you got their number and will be hooking up with one of them before the week is out. You don't care if they're ugly, fat, and nasty looking, as long as they're easy. Which I'm sure they are, you could care less about looks or size." Jazz said as her and Leah laughed. I frown thinking about Essence and Kimani, I can't lie I would disagree about what Jazz said about them. Yeah they were big, but they were real cute as far as look goes, and they seem to have confidence. I didn't see any thing that said they had low self-esteem, even though Essi, I mean Essence was the quieter one out of the duo; she handled herself very well against Jazz and her friend's insults and fat jokes.
I was worried for nothing because they didn't need me nor Shawn to protect them from Jazz and Leah. "For your information no I didn't get her number because you and your friend came over here like a pack of wild animals throwing Jabs at them for nothing. Yall better be glad they didn't drag your asses across these nasty ass floors." Shawn said laughing. I smiled picturing how that would’ve played out. Jazz punched my arm. "What's so funny Syn? If those big ass girls would have jumped me, you wouldn't have jumped in?" Jazz asked looking at me with an attitude.
Raising my brow. "No, first reason is because, I don't hit women and second you're the one who came over here acting crazy with Leah right next to you. You should be asking her that instead of me." "Are you serious, so you would have let those big girls fight me? That's fucked up Syn." Jazz shouted. I was confused by her anger. "What you yelling for? I'm not putting my hands on a female to end up in handcuffs and kicked off the team. That will ruin my chances of being drafted to the NBA, all because you decided to go off on some chicks that didn't do or say anything to you." I said, looking at her like she was crazy. Jazz got up from the table grabbing her purse. "That's fucked up Syn, you act like you care more about basketball, than about me getting jumped by two big ass girls. Come on Leah let's go." Jazz said turning to walk away.
I knew I made her mad and I didn't want to have to deal with her attitude. Because later she would drag this out for days if I let her friend boost her had up. So I grabbed her hand and pulled her onto my lap. I tried to kiss her neck but she leaned away from me. "Why you mad about something that didn't even happen. Look I ain't hitting no female, but I wouldn't let them beat you down either." "I would, Ouch! why you hit me for?" Shawn asked Leah who punched him in the arm. "Because you're stupid and don't know what to say." Leah replied turning back to Jazz who was still mad, but I was about to play dumb like I didn't know."Baby are you going to give me a kiss, so I can head back to practice before we’re late, that would mean that I have to stay over doing suicides. Then I won't be able to take you to the movies, shopping, and dinner like we planned." I said knowing that would perk her ass right up. Seeing the anger lines turn into a smile, I knew I said all the right words this time. She turned her head, letting me kiss her. I smile and grabbed a handful of her ass and smacked it. "You need to stop showing out.” I said in her ear, she rolled her eyes, sucking her teeth, but I know she gets turned on, when I get a little aggressive. She snapped out of her lustful haze, and got off my lap.
"Shut up Syn, you just make sure you’re on time getting back to practice, because if you have to stay late, I'm going to be real mad." Jazz said, looking at me with an attitude. I had to adjust myself because these basketball shorts would not hide my dick. Having jazz on my lap with her ass right on him, had me ready to fuck right then, but I had no time, but trust I will be banging that back out later. Getting up grabbing our tray. "Hey we're going to walk out with you guys, let us just put these trays up first." I said to the girls who were heading for the exit. "Okay hurry up we have to catch the nail salon open before the evening crowd comes in." Putting our trays up we left the pit. Opening the car door for Jazz, she turns and kiss me again.
Chapter 363 “I don't think these tables are going to hold much longer.” Kain said as he and Martrice sat with their backs against the door the three men were trying to get through. “Then we better make sure we take them out before they can break the damn door down.” Kain said, checking his gun, then rubbed his wound. “We've tried to shoot them, but they have more fire power then we do so we can't waste any bullets.” Martrice said as he tried to look to see how much time they had left before the door completely gave out and shattered. “Yea we are going to have to shoot our way out, it's only three of them which should be easy work.” Kain said, as he got to his knees staying low, the men were trying to take the door off the hinges. Martrice looked at the generator and panic started to set in, he hoped his family was close to finding Essi and Kiki so they could get outta there. “I know I don't think that we were really going to let them go after momma by themselves.”
Chapter 362 “How many more floors do we have, till we get to the bottom floor?” “Friend, I was just about to ask, did they add floors to this hospital while we were running for our lives? Because ain't no way there is these many floors in this hospital. Is this the stair way to hell friend?” “This gotta be an introduction to hell. If it is, they’re killing it because I already regret life.” Essence and Kymoni said breathing hard, they went from walking fast down the steps to walking slowly and having asthma attacks. Big C went to his sister and turned around. She frowned about to cuss his ass out but she saw that they were on the thirteenth floor and changed her mind. She got on his back, closed her eyes, and sighed in relief. “WHAT THE HELL KIKI, I DIDN'T OFFER YOU SHIT, DAMNIT!” Kristian yelled when Kymoni jumped on his back. “You don't have to tell me, momma E said yall have to treat us the same way, Since Essi is getting a ride I am too, so hurry up. Because those crazy p
Chapter 361In the waiting room: Sharon and the Taylors: “We need to get out of here, there are bullets flying everywhere, if we stay here we could be caught in the cross fire.” Judge Taylor said as she stood by the door trying to see what was happening outside. The men watching them had left as soon as the shooting started. “I am not leaving here without my son and husband. You can do what you want. I am staying here until my family is safe.” Sharon said as she paced back and forth. “You still think you have a family? Your husband just told you he doesn't want you anymore, and your son basically cut you out of his life. The sad part is knowing you, what your family found out about you isn't everything you have done. Remember I helped you more than once, I might as well tell you now, if I can make a deal to get out of prison sooner, I will tell them everything I know about what you've done.” Judge Taylor said, looking back at Sharon. “You wouldn't dare, remember your
Chapter 360 “We only have an hour before the generator runs out and the electricians haven't gotten here yet. Somethings wrong, I have bypassed the systems they use to alert them that there is an emergency, but no one has shown up.” Martrice said, as he hacked into the emergency systems at the police stations and put out another alert. “What happens when the generators give out?” Kain asked as he rubbed his chest wound. Martrice had to force him to take his meds, to ease his pain, but he didn't want to because it made him woozy, he didn't like not being in complete control especially when there is danger lurking. “If the generator goes out then we will be in complete darkness, patients that are still in here will be in danger. Not to mention the killers who are after Essence, not being able to see it will be even harder to get the hell outta here.” Martrice said as he sent out more alerts for help. “Well you better hope that someone comes really soon.” “Why?” “Because
Chapter 359 The bullets were coming down fast. Kekoa looked at his brother and then at Maya who was crying in fear. “Don't worry I promise you're going to be ok. You gotta trust me, I love you ok.” Kekoa kissed Maya as he moved her. He used his feet to push off the wall and as soon as he swung out he threw Maya who screamed as Big C and Kekoe caught her and pulled her in. Kekoa, sighed in relief when he saw that she was ok. He smiled at his brother just as a bullet pierced his arm. His eyes widened as he lost his grip on the wire, as he began to drop to the floor below. He heard Maya screaming and closed his eyes knowing what was coming next. Then out of nowhere someone grabbed him, he opened his eyes and looked at a face that mirrored his own. “I got you brother, we came into this world together and that's how we will leave this world.” Kekoe said as he strained using all his strength to pull his brother up. Big C, Kristian, and Recce head him by the legs. They saw th
Chapter 357 “WE NEED TO MOVE NOW! WE GET OFF ON THE NEXT FLOOR DOWN. WE WILL BE SITTING DUCKS IF WE STAY IN HERE, WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO DEFEND OURSELVES.” Big C said as he picked up his pace. He was nervous now, his sister was already injured and the baby is probably already stressed and tired of their entire family. He couldn't let anything happen to her, all this was his idea, he didn't want to fail her or his niece. Essence since Big C's mood change, his face always told on him and how he was feeling. He didn't think so but we all knew how to read the signs. Essence put up a fuss and was scared as hell that they were going to fall to their deaths, but she trusted her big brother. He was the closest she had to a dad, and he knew it also so he always made sure that all his siblings saw him as someone they could admire. Essence squeezed him tighter, “I'm glad you came for me, I don't know if I would have made it without knowing you were going to walk through hell to fi
