Chapter 29 - Paying for the results
Daniel's POV
She bit her lower lip, looking away while thinking.
After a few torturing seconds, she said. "Fine."
I hugged her, smiling. I really thought she would push me away again after that bitch's visit. But fortunately, she didn't.
The door opened, and the doctor walked in.
"Ok, if you are ready, let's check the baby." She said, giving us a warm smile. Bella and I nodded at the same time, smiling.
The doctor started checking our baby. I was holding Bella's hand while looking at the screen, excited.
A few seconds later, the room filled with our baby's heartbeats. I smiled happily and looked into Bella's eyes. She gave me a dazzling smile.
"Ok...everything is normal." The doctor informed as she finished checking up.
I brought Bella's hand to my lips and placed a soft kiss on her hand, giving her a bright smile. She gave me a warm smile.
