CHARLOTTE POV We exit the diner and head over to a group of trees nearby. I take off my clothes again and pass them to Scarlett, who puts them in her backpack while I shift. I shake out my fur once the shift is completed and move up to Scarlett. She kneels down and runs her fingers through my fur while she gives me a tight hug, which is like only a quarter of what it should be. Harmony and I try our sister connection. “Scar?? She lifts her wrist, showing me the birthday gift Nathaniel gave her. It means this piece goes with the bracelet she has and the amulet that Nathaniel has. I smile, lean over, and give her a kiss. I also give Phoenix a quick kiss as well, only to hear a low growl from Scarlett.I smile and laugh.
