DEMOLITION CONSPIRACY
The demolition notices that came round the neighborhood is a sham. My mother, Shadrach James and I got to know about it with the guidance we had from my late father's diary. Razzi, S.M. G Dangana, Benson Daniel and the Major General form the cabal that rob people of thier entitlements and property in the neighborhood. We got to discover that they print out demolition notices, give it around with the aid of some allies from the government construction site and Urban palnning development then threaten to evict or demolish the buildings. Residents on the other hand, innocently fall victims to such tricks then pay certain amounts to the cabal who parade themselves as saints soliciting on behalf of poor people. If only the victims knew the notices came from the people they put thier faith into. If only these people know that the money they offer to these men as compensation to the construction and demolition body goes no where. My father got to know about the conspiracy and this le

I was able to convince my mother to let me take Razzi's son on a tour. "You barely know him. " she objected. "He might be the miracle we need to unravel the demolition conspiracy." I had said. Monday the 19th of March 2021, a fearless trio, Peter, Layo and I Fetty stormed the Urban Planning Centre in town. The Urban Planning Centre handles building and construction matters in the state. The office allocates space to prospective land owners and ensures all building activities are in accordance with it's laid down rules. Peter, Layo and I left the Urban Planning Centre feeling hopeful. We didn't just establish an element of doubt in the office, we brought the General manager's senses to the realization that there is a conspiracy. As we walked to the Main junction after exiting the office, I said to the boys "Let us keep this a secret." My intention is to ensure Peter doesn't go running to his daddy spilling the outcome of our visit. Our plan will definetely be ruined if his father Razzi, a member of the cabal comes to know what we've been up to lately. "So you are saying no one should know? But Why? " questioned Peter. Even though I wanted to let Peter know the truth, I wasn't going to tell him just like that especially not knowing where his loyalty lies. I woke up the next morning as earlier as I could. My mother, Tami and Kiki were sleeping. I woke up before the alarm I set on my cell phone had rung. It was few minutes past 5:am. Was I a bit too early? I had thought on my way to Peter’s room. I shunned the voice in my head who was begging me to take a U turn back to our room. I knocked on Peter’s door not being sure of whether he would respond or not. He might still be asleep I thought. "Since we promised to keep this entire endeavor a secret task, shouldn't it be left so? " I said. "Well Fetty you are right but my father is no strange man. "
