Chapter Eighteen Seeing My Crush Again

It was the day of the class reunion, and I was lucky to get some time from work for this. Of course, I am going to have to work double shifts to make up for this time away from work. I am certainly up early today in my hotel room and very anxious about tonight. I just wish that my parents were here to see what I have accomplished so far.

Ring, ring, I answer my cell phone after being in my thoughts. “Hey, Sandy?” My goodness, Maddison, you were supposed to call me once you reached your hotel room. Oh, I am so sorry, I completely forgot. Once I got off the airplane and took an Uber to the hotel and checked into my room. I lay on the bed, and before I knew it, morning came. Plus, I was just thinking about my parents and how I wished that they were here.
